As an indie (which is basically B), you start from 0, which means your only source of revenue will be from direct donations, and in order to even get the viewers who donate in the first place, you'd need to put effort into being entertaining.
With a big name corpo, you're essentially guaranteed numbers, channel monetization, and algorithm boosts right off the bat. You can do fuck all and corpo bootlickers will flock in and shit cash on your face, and if you fall behind, you're more likely to get savior-fagged than if you were an indie.
