Anon I can literally go on her recent vods and hear her voice reaching an unnatural pitch time after time (you can do the same too, I'm not trying to argue or anything, the evidence is honestly right there). There are moments where she'll go super deep and that's definitely her natural voice. Even if she said she's done with the unnatural voice it's still there, so maybe she does it unknowingly. But that's not to say she hasn't changed it at all, as I agree it's definitely not the same as a couple of months ago and certainly not the same as debut Bae.

I've never heard Miko break character. She's either just that good or she really is a supernatural shrine maiden. Mr. Koro has let her real voice slip and... It sounds like her only with less pronounced pitch accent.

Semi-related linguistics question. Do they change or downplay or modify the pitch accent in anime? I know Japanese people talking naturally doesn’t sound the same as seiyuu giving their lines in anime, and it feels like the pitch accent is the difference. I’ve done enough reps to vaguely notice a change but not enough to tell for sure.

Singing voices aren't real voices at all. Like, they never are, fundamentally, not by any definition of real voice. The whole point of singing practice is to break away from your habitual voice and to stretch your natural voice.
