Parasocial is one of those words that has been dragged through the mud by people within and adjacent to this hobby to the point of being unrecognizable, so while you're technically correct, there's almost certainly a not-inconsiderable portion of the viewerbase of any given chuuba who just tunes in for entertainment and isn't personally invested in them at all.
