The only two things that kinda mess with the games canon is that Sokolov is alive (and I mean it's a MG game, people have come back from worse than being killed off screen) and the game ends with Big Boss getting rich, but PW starts with them being poor again. Other than that, I think Kojima disowned it simply because he was in a phase where he was on his high horse about being a creator. Also, Portable OPS is shown in MGS4, mentioned at the start of PW, and I think mentioned on a tape in MGSV. So far almost every MGS streamer except Jets and Macolops (irl game player) have skipped it, despite it not being bad at all.

It's pretty annoying when collab heavy weeks happen, it always happens like every month lmao why is there always a time when tbe properly I don't get it desu.
