Cats I think you are really talented. As a long time streamer myself I have to say that your grasp on the basics of streaming is really impressive. Your chat interaction and lack of dead air is on point, one of the best if not the best of the current stock of aspies.

I think what you could benefit from is developing a more extreme streaming persona. Your style right now is enjoyable, but a bit plain. And lets face it, without selling sex you just have too much competition in this environment to grow at a good pace without a way to set yourself apart from the pack.

I think there are two ways to work on this. Firstly you can try becoming a more extreme version of yourself. Accentuate and amplify your most interesting qualities while trying minimizing other parts of your natural personality. Or you can try to follow other more well defined archetypes, find other streamers with extreme personalities and see if you can emulate the way they act. Really I think you should try both. At the very minimum, this kind of practice acting is extraordinarily helpful to make you a better entertainer.

It's not even about streaming. I don't like playing fighting games online period. Oddly enough, I don't mind if I'm playing with strangers if we're in the same room together. I played Tekken 7 a bunch with random people at a con and had a blast even though I got my ass kicked. But with playing online, it just feels different somehow. Like people are less interested in goofing around and having fun and they're most interested in racking up wins.

My oshi stopped putting on a voice except to read dialogue, but it was a gradual change and she has a cute voice anyways without trying to sound like a loli. But it depends, I don't think Kaabhal could survive dropping the voice, for example.
It's only a dealbreaker if they have always insisted on that voice 24/7.
