Completely different game. Factorio is an autism simulator where you're hyperfocused on optimization. Rimworld is a procedural story generator. You will get actively attached to your colonists. When they get sick or start bleeding, you start worrying for them. You'll get random ideas for projects ala MineCraft and spend time working on them. It's inspired by Dwarf Fortress and it really shows.
