I actually had to take a few time to think about just how big the coin purse would be by now, since I never gave it actual numbers before, or put a lot of clear value on what anything costs in this world. I know it had to use the thread standard of second person limited for the first scene in order to set expectations but it really should have either switched to third person limited (Rushia's) pov or have bit the bullet and fully made the story from that point on about (You)r pov even as you start doing bad shit. As it is the metaphorical camera feels like it wants to be from "Rushia"s pov but is stuck with having to badly describe it from yours.

Jesus fuck. I had no clue I could pump out this many words in less than two days, it's undoubtedly a first for me. If this was instead spent on my WIPs I think I could've finished two by now, but inspiration just latched onto me for this one and didn't let go. I think the fighting did get a bit bloated because I had to reach the number 5, but I had fun writing my first proper action sequences in a while, despite feeling a bit rusty. I don't normally do fantasy fights either, and usually keep them grounded in reality, which made it a bit of a new experience. Hope you guys give it a read and let me know what you think.

The numbers darkening as they count up was a nice touch. I preferred the combat in the beginning more than the stuff towards the end. That said it didn’t feel like too much, it only got a bit stale towards the end. This was a fun read though like you said it was ironically kind of bogged down by the prompt needing it to have gone to 'five' narratively so it was kind of forced to have these long series of actions without that kind of got tiring to read through.
