First you need to go back and decide how you want the hair to look.
Get a reference and break the haircut into major lumps and hair strands (here is a random gambler). If you look at the picture you can see big lumps in green-red-blue and smaller strands in yellow.
First get your bigger lumps in with your curves to get the general shape, then convert to mesh split their tips in edit mode and add smaller hair strands on top of it. Otherwise you're going to end up with 50 small strands and a mess.

I think you're really shooting yourself in the foot with the round eyes, you're better off extruding the eye socket back and having a floating iris and highlight, pic related, that's from a model I downloaded so I can look at it

I think the chibi can look good even with simple textures, the simpler the texture the better, it's harder to mess them up
Keep in mind that just because it's a chibi doesn't mean it has to be low poly, you can go up to 50k no problem

Would it be that much of a debuff if the 3D Model is looking away from the viewer and just looking at the game playing like in a studio or on a couch? I was thinking of making it so that the game screen would be featured on a in-stream TV and the model would be sitting across. The screen is relatively large enough to see what is happening aside from small text but I feel it would give it a nice unique feel for the model being of its own (in-world) display.

Its more of a side profile look sitting on a chair. Facing away from chat but you can see the face and reaction while the avatar games. The model presses buttons as the player would and the model would react on screen. There is walls and floor in the stream setup which on the left side is the game screen which is slanted enough to be displayed proper to chat so they could enjoy.

Hello /asp/. I have somehow convinced my girlfriend to become a vtuber. Has an actual 10/10 personality, sense of humor, and cuteness level and I absolutely believe she could become the next big thing (you'll just have to believe me on not being biased). Your voice is forced, it might be alright for speaking and talking softly, but you can't sing the same way, you're limiting your own singing that way.
Try to push from your diaphragm while singing with that voice, if it breaks when you put more power, you need to sing with your normal voice.
If you still insist on singing with that forced voice, you might want to compress your cords and push with your throat and head instead, this can help you reach high notes with a more feminine voice, but I definitely don't recommend that for a long period of singing as it drains your stamina real quick and you'll easily run out of gas in 5 mins

I've made a livable wage as is, just feel like time is catching up to me, and I haven't seen the growth I would have liked over the last while. Could just be a bad time of the year of course (benefit of the doubt), but it's been on my mind a fair bit.
