If Niji EN got completely shut down (they won't but I'm just being hypothetical here), would HoloEN hire any of the leftover talents? On one hand it seems like it would make good business sense as they have established fanbases, but on the other hand those fans may not get behind their new persona and the different style hololive offers. Interesting to think about.

it's not going to happen. it's been years, give up. there are no valid candidates remaining. the fact is that corporate vtubing is dead in the water on the english language internet. the only thing that's been keeping it moving is leftover inertia all the way back from the 2020 boom.
no woman with the prerequisite talent and experience has any interest in burning their PL and joining a corporation that demands they build their life around it where they are guaranteed to fail to reach the same numbers they had before.
and, for the same reason, any woman who sees a holoEN as an improvement from their current standing can't meet the requirements to enter.

If Nijisanji did shut down Niji EN, it would be in the same way they did with Niji ID and Niji KR: merge them with Nijisanji proper, only give anything to the prominent talents that can speak Japanese in the former branch, ignore the rest, and wait for the ignored talents to volunteer to graduate.
