Only Critical Role got big and not only they had "big" western VAs they also had consistency. It took almost 2 years for Mythbreakers to have 12 episodes while CR always airs on the same day almost every single week. If Mori was smart she should've tried for one shots first to warm up her GM chops, understand what her players like from the games and which would be interested in a long term campaign and only then organize it instead of immediately jumping into one with 4 girls with varying degrees of interest, and even so she would probably find more success just keeping with the one shot formula.
