Will elaborate later.
>Electrone engine in a mech equipped, interior is essentially a gigantic mechanical orchestera synced up to a young lunaito battle choir
>because of conceptual sync, it operates most efficiently with a young pilot and relies on that pilot's ability to play for the majority of its function
>armed with chuubanitrophic majin cannons that can shoot pink lightning bolts that transform things into confectionary goods.
>specialized artillery cannons to synchronize with the pipe organs and sounds of war
>hyper sonic concentrated blast cannons
>turns the battlefield into a gigantic orchestra, possibly reality bending to make the sound of war a gigantic concert ala Baby Driver
>can't really use the electrone sonic conversion engine to its full power outside of an atmosphere and often needs to be extensively calibrated before deployment. In deep space, it's not very efficient and loses a good majority of its sonic and chuubanite based functions, only being able to generate energy through the interior which is extremely dangerous for the crew and has only been used in last ditch scenarios (usually in a self destruct). Since they're very costly and require the crew to devote all of their training towards the Knights maintenance so they're not used or deployed much where there's little chance of them turning the tide but it's not unheard of.
>basically, a noise marine chaos knight except its cute intead of sexy and instead of vaporizing someone with a hyper sonic version of Highway to Hell, it's turning someone into a fresh pile of molten sugar with a hyper sonic version of Patchwork Chimera
I guess I wont elaborate that's kind of it.

Nice cliffhanger ending, MC is really going through an arc. This makes me wonder how plausible healing acute radiation sickness could be. The genetic damage is huge, you'd maybe you'd need some kind of extremely efficient gene editing method alla CRISPR to repair your chromosomes, and repair the destruction in your bone marrow and tissues in general. Maybe smart medical nanomachines could attempt it, but it would be challenging.

kek. Those fuckers sound pretty kino anon, I always liked the noise marines. I reckon with music being such a big part of vtubing this kind of energy might be frequently seen in the Vitubian Nebula. I like the detail that the pilot plays the mech like an instrument. The fact the sonic weapon relies on an atmosphere is also a nice bit of balance. You lucked out with the paintjob of that knight paladin.

Yea kinda hard to balance weapons intentionally meant to be badass and formidable while not being overpowered. I guess the standard variant Knight or I guess Electrone Lu-Knightmares would be used as planetary defense weapons primarily rather than assault in their standard variants but its fun to throw a bunch of ideas at a much and make a version that works well with how Luna and luknights work in lore and in concept.

Would polished mirror armor help deflect lasers? Assuming they're not heated plasma already.

>> No.48712106

>>48711805
Assuming you're not using bitch lasers, the surface should be marred or burned in some way.

>> No.48712299

>>48711642
Well hey planetary assaults are probably also a decently common scenario, if we don't take the "it's all orbital bombardments" stance. I'm sure there are lots of situations where you end up in atmospheric combat.
>>48711805
They would be better than nothing. If your armor reflects 90% of incoming light, that's 90% less damage. But 10% of the damage is already a lot, and any kind of dirt or imperfections in your reflective coating will decrease how much gets reflected. Ideally you'd want the armor to be regenerative, or some kind of liquid metal, so that it can continuously be ablated by the laser, and then regenerate itself to a mirror polish. I had a thought for something like that for the deadbeat osseo-mechanical machines, with bony plates that regrow after being damaged.

Would some of the liquid metal evaporate? At least in space there's no oxygen to oxydize.

>> No.48714679

>>48714441
If the laser was intense enough, yeah. One good thing is that the liquid metal could circulate so that it always presents a shiny reflective surface to the laser, instead of getting burnt marks that would be more vulnerable. Also that's true, no oxygen helps a lot with preventing all sorts of oxidization issues.
Maybe the metal vapor could be used to absorb more of the laser? If it could be controlled it could be used to make a cloud over the surface of the liquid to absorb some of the energy.

>> No.48716068

>>48711805
Here's a relevant article I found: https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/70698/will-high-power-laser-penetrate-mirror
Basically, with high frequency Lasers you would be able to brute force your way through even metal and other reflective material due to them not being able to reflect all the light, though current day Irl Laser weapons aren't yet useful against Metals.

Anchor under /moon/ stories, also rename /moon/ to: Lunesia (/moon/) in archive.

I am writing something inspired by "Democracy in America" by Alexis de Tocqueville in /moon/. It is written from the perspective of an outsider from Hoshiyomia and its overall goal is to present the nation from a different perspective than what a native son of Lunesia would tell you or what even an Oiseaux, Zetan or Kanarucan would. I have just done the foreword, but that should give you more information about what to expect. This ain't going to be anywhere close to the size or scope of "Democracy in America" but I do want to stay true to it somewhat in how it looked at American government society and culture at the time it was written. I hope that I can achieve that.

Read it, and tell me what ya think of the idea behind it and what is down so far. Not that great of a writer so any feedback or ideas are welcome. Thanks bros.

There will be a bit of gravitational force there, might help the thing stay stable, gravity between such small things is pretty weak though, unless your spaceship is like moon sized (Like the Iserlohn Fortress from LotGH which is actually exactly that, a liquid metal shield, forgot about that). I think surface tension and electromagnetic or chuubanitic forces would be more reliable.

The crew sat in stunned silence,
As Maya and Alex spoke of their quest,
Of the cave and the orb,
And the horrors they'd witnessed in their conquest.

They spoke of the darkness and the cold,
Of the eerie whispers that filled the air,
Of the creatures that lurked in the shadows,
And the terror that gripped them with despair.

They spoke of the orb, with its strange energy,
And the power it held in its grasp,
Of the ancient symbols etched in stone,
And the secrets that they couldn't unmask.

The crew listened in awe and in fear,
As they heard the tale that was told,
Of the dangers that lurked on the moon,
And the darkness that had taken hold.

They knew that their journey was far from over,
And the challenges that lay ahead,
Were greater than they'd ever imagined,
And the risks were greater than they'd ever dread.

But they also knew that they had each other,
And the strength that came from unity,
And with their hearts and minds ablaze with hope,
They'd fight for their survival with tenacity.

So they gathered their wits and their courage,
And prepared for the journey ahead,
With the memories of Maya and Alex's tale,
Etched in their minds like a thread.

For the unknown lay ahead of them,
And the dangers they couldn't foresee,
But with the light of the stars as their guide,
They'd journey on towards their destiny.

Virgil’s pretty cute (and funny as some other threads would say) and her fan base’s small enough that it’s good for getting a response from her if you’re into that and is in the right time zone for live. Her stuff can get suggestive at times though if you’re not a fan of that
>ears
I don’t think I ever decided on whether original palkyries have human ears in addition to their possum ones. Maybe I’ll keep that a secret! Belyms have four ears though since they’re a product of deliberate engineering. I think they probably will inherit pointy ears from the elves. I thought about making them better at locating the source of sound in 3D environment due to the additional ears but it seems redundant when the possum ears can probably turn to do the same
>radiation sickness
I think it would depend a lot on the source and intensity of the radiation as well as how strong the nanomachines are. If it’s indirect irradiation like inhaling/ingesting radioactive fallout then nanomachines or even simpler substance (like iodine tablets IRL) can bind with them so that they’ll not be absorbed by the body and just be removed from the person via natural means. If the body get hit directly by radiation then nanomachines and other genetic engineering methods should still be able to repair most of the cellular damage before and during the latent period where the body’s still somewhat functional. If the radiation’s very strong (10 Gy seems to be the point where you no longer get a latent period and just straight to nervous system damage and melting organs) then I don’t think nanomachines can do much (unless they can do everything) and things like organ transplant and/or cybernetics will be needed to maintain bodily functions. Putting the patients in cryogenic sleep should extend the treatment period almost indefinitely but I imagine those don’t come cheap so maybe only individuals deemed valuable enough would get those

I don’t know a lot about technology and stuff but I did my reps so I hope my notes will help

>Man-portable weapons
Guns, bazookas, and anything light enough for normal humans to carry and use
>Physical projectile weapons
Regular guns, also include other weapons that shoot projectiles in different ways like rail guns and coil guns, maybe even stuff like crossbow
+Allow all kinds of ammunition like smart bullets, flechettes, explosive rounds and such, gives the most flexibility in tactics
+Requires the least amount of technology and electronics (barring rail guns and such) and thus is the most resilient and probably easiest/cheapest to make
+Technically unlimited range in space
+/-the most mundane option
-Loud (except crossbows)
-Ammunition has weight
>Laser weapons
Looks like camcorder or the super scope
+Ammunition is about the fastest thing around
+Powered by electricity alone (assuming non-chemical laser) and thus can be recharged in many different ways
+Variable output allowing finer control over damage done, can potentially also be used as flashlight/flashbang/incapacitation weapon
+/-Scope can use part of the barrel
+/-Liveleak tells me the magazine can also work as bomb
-Limited range and requires focusing on target for optimal damage
-Performance more affected by atmosphere than physical projectiles
-Requires high technology level to make and maintain, electronic failures can disable the weapon

>Mecha weapons
Weapons too big to be carried by humans but are still human in scope, also includes land vehicle weapons like tank guns
>Physical/laser weapons
Mostly the same as above
>Particle weapons
Likely have to be linear accelerators to keep weight down, also cannot be too long unless it’s a sniper rifle
+Looks cool!
+Ammunition is almost the fastest thing around
+Charged particles can irradiate the interior of metal ships for piracy
+Hypervelocity macrons can be nuclear bullets that are very hard to intercept/disable
+/-Variable output can significantly affect damage done to unintended targets
+/-Can potentially be deflected by magnetic field, might not be an actual practical defense if the beam’s fast enough
+/-Requires both a lot of energy and particles as ammunition
+/-Longer range than laser but still limited
+/-Electric charge can build up in the weapon/mecha if the beam is not neutralized
-Creates a path of radiation that also lowers efficiency when used in atmosphere
>Pilebunker
+It’s pilebunker!

>Ship weapons
Weapons that are too heavy/energy-intensive and have to be mounted on warships and stations to use
>Physical projectile weapons
Mostly the same as above but with more options due to larger scale
+Casaba-Howitzer has the best name for a sci-fi weapon
>Laser weapons
Mostly the same as above
+Probably the best CIWS weapon due to its speed and accuracy
-Probably can’t be armored
>Particle weapons
Ships should be large and powerful enough to power cyclotrons or house very long accelerators for much higher energy output
+LoGH aesthetics
+Can push particles to almost light speed
+Ships have enough mass to tolerate electric charge build up
-Damage to cyclotrons can disable them entirely instead of just weakening output

I also cobbled together my rough idea for Duende-class as a whole. It’s a small-ish spaceship that’s designed with modularity in mind. Performance-wise it’s probably not as good as dedicated spaceships but they’re inexpensive and can fit many roles depending on the modules attached to them, so small space countries with a limited budget can just buy/build a bunch of them and change the modules depending on what’s needed at the time
Pink’s the main engine and yellow’s the main generator of the ship. They’re somewhat modular depending on what kind of propulsion and energy the faction uses but I don’t imagine them being changed once the ship’s built
Teal’s the core habitation modules of the ship. It includes things like living quarters and storage (for stuff like goods, fuels, propellants) and life support system that can be shared across habitation modules. Green’s the ship’s CIC and bridge where the ship’s controlled
Blue’s optional modules that can be attached to the ship and is where Duende-class shines. Different combinations of modules allow the ship to be anything from exploration and survey vessels to cargo ships, and from passenger ships (amenities modules optional) to military warships (with multiple weapon and hanger modules available)
Lavender’s radiator arrays. The base design comes with a few units but can be expanded depending on power consumption of the modules. They can also be collapsible if the ship’s expected to be attacked due to how fragile but vital they are
The ship’s probably radially symmetrical with like 4 radiator struts and 8*2 optional module slots. It probably also has armor panels covering the modules so it should look kinda like a column when operational and not being shredded by enemy fire

The crew member's name is Max, a seasoned engineer,
Who's been with the crew since the start of their frontier.

With tools in hand and a heart full of pride,
Max worked tirelessly, with no time to bide.

He helped build the shelters, the factories, and more,
Making sure each structure was solid to the core.

As the colony grew, Max faced new demands,
With resources stretched thin across the lands.

But he kept on working, his spirit unbroken,
Finding solutions to each new obstacle that had spoken.

And when Maya and Alex returned from the moon,
With news of the cave and the orb, Max knew it was a boon.

He gathered the crew, and they huddled around,
Eager to hear what secrets they had found.

As Maya and Alex spoke of the cave's darkness and gloom,
Max listened intently, his mind ready to consume.

He saw the orb in his mind, glowing bright,
And he knew that its power was more than just light.

His mind raced with ideas of what they could do,
With this newfound power that was fresh and new.

He discussed with the crew how they could use it best,
To make their colony thrive and stand the test.

And so they worked, with a newfound drive,
With Max leading them forward, they felt alive.

They built new machines, powered by the orb's light,
And with each passing day, the colony grew in might.

Max knew that the journey was far from over,
And there were more challenges they'd have to discover.

But with a crew so strong and spirits so high,
Max was ready to face whatever would come by.

That's a nice breakdown of hard scifi weaponry! I didn't know about this Casaba-Howitzer thing.
>The name comes from the casaba melon, a variety of honeydew, because the lab was "on a melon kick that year," naming various projects after melons and having already used up all the good ones.[
... Scientists suck at naming things. Using nuclear explosions to create X-ray beams is cool though.
I had a thought for a weapon system inspired by the Mass Effect mass accelerators. Basically, it's an intermediate step between a particle beam, and something like a gauss rifle. You use some field (electromagnetic, probably) to accelerate a micro or nano-scale needle to possibly relativistic speeds, and shoot that at the target. So the projectile is larger than the protons/alpha particles of the particle beam, but can be accelerated to higher speeds than conventional ballistic weapons. I'm not sure what the pros and cons would be yet but it feels cool.

I guess the source of the name’s kinda lame but the name itself’s still pretty cool! It’s more like nuclear shaped charge like a HEAT round than X-ray lasers tho
Bomb-pumped laser is a thing which is also the primary way to create X-ray and gamma ray laser but they’re one-shot only due to their nature and it’s probably overkill outside very specific circumstances anyway
>weapon system
I think it’s called hypervelocity macrons and it’s apparently a pretty powerful weapon according to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPVhOy3mWQQ so you’re onto something! The suggested ammunition design’s more like tubes or balls to maximize surface/mass ration or to carry a payload (for nuclear fission or fusion at contact) tho

I got the assets from here! I would say the story’s currently at one of the rear optional modules (although having a big brig as part of the core module would definitely reflect some interesting values of that culture)
I haven’t thought of the ship’s power and propulsion system yet since I don’t really plan for them to play a major role in the story and chances are they’re magical in some ways anyway

Macrons! Neat, I had this understanding that smaller projectiles meant higher velocities, but it's cool to see that this ties into the square-cube law. I was also wondering if it might be possible trigger microfusion upon impact and it sounds like it is. Thanks for sharing! I wanted to know how they might perform in atmospheres (mainly whether they would work with limited range or just cause an explosion at the weapon's muzzle), and now I have a better term to google.
So there's stuff like that on Behance. I'll have to try finding other tilesets like this, this style isn't exactly what I have in mind but something similar would be handy.

Thanks Ichimibro!
Let me try to answer some things.

>/hlg/ language
So I was thinking with others about how to make sense of languages in world given how few use Holoimperial, and my friend Hoshi suggested that there be a language that is dead above Holoimperial and his proposed (proto-latin) that would be able to explain some things and fit in with the lore of /hlg/ vs. /hlgg/ and how that was a big deal back in the day where it could have caused a language split. It being that Holoimperial is the base language of HoloEN while the other language would be the base for HoloJP. I think the /hlg/ language (I think it is latin) is also dead (?) but since ID doesn't want to be seen as ID but civilized instead, we revived it for our base language which explains some things in universe better like why only HoloEN nations use Holoimperial in anyway for example.

This is up for discussion, I know it was hoshi's idea for some measure of lore inter connectivity and explaining things better since not many actually use the conlang for various reasons. He can probably explain it better, and others chiming in would help! I like the idea a lot personally.

I do personally think that it would be much more fitting to the real history of the /hlgg/ and /hlg/ threads for there to be a unifying language above Holodhennet and Japlatin (or whatever it will be called), which then split into the two languages, making /hlgg/ and /hlg/ languages siblings/cousins in a way.

Phrased it the wrong way. /hlg/ here is JP's hololive general, not ホロライブ. The archaic form of Holo-dhennet is likely the common language for both of the threads back in /jp/. and the linguistic tree would also probably look something like this.

>> No.48771957

So I would first like to address "why?" with what is being called Japlatin. We can make a name later.

It was a total split, and it makes zero sense to me for them to be derived from each other given that. I assume you can also say that the Indo-Indian present in both warkop and risu are also a different branch but that is up to the ID writers to decide since their overall idea leans on what moonafic spoke of earlier for his own nation.

I will point out that latin as a language is not as «refined» and would be a step back in terms of language evolution. I can give real examples of this if needed, but simply put, Holoimperial is more like English and French than Latin in terms of evolution. To be honest, you can do a roots analysis with Holoimperial and what made it different than Japlatin (which is probably vulgar latin) that could be interesting.

The overall main reason that I came up with this was to make sense of languages in the world, at least with Holos as I know this is something others are doing a good job in as well such as those in Indeia as an example. I couldn't totally make sense of why my nation as it is would have a language that came from Holoimperial either personally, and I know that at least two of the HoloJP Rumina isn't HoloJP anymore but I did not get the impression their language, which is a mix of greek and latin changed since their exodus.nations and going off the name of another, 3, of them use latin as their base language in some form.

One more note I want to present is that even if >we agree, this does not mean your nation must use either of these as a base, script wise or lore wise at all. You have all the freedom to do as you wish and it can be pointed out that languages like the Basque language exist in Europe as examples of old languages that didn't give in to their neighbors. I do not want also to undermine anyone's lore, or the hard work of Conlang anons because it is impressive and I marvel at how you do it.

Next post on JP alliance and for Sapling.

>JP Alliance.

First, I want to ask. What is the overall purpose of this pact? I am fine with being friendly with other HoloJP and JP threads in general, but I will need more details to seriously consider anything further as I honestly do not know how to approach this well given that it seems its against /hlgg/ and /hlgg/ has barely any lore to begin with.

Second, I encourage you Ichimi and Heimin to develop your lore further before you get fully into diplomacy. I made mistakes when I began of getting into diplomatic agreements that turned out I did not particularly like when my lore developed.

>Sapling.

Max's mind brimmed with ideas untamed,
As he envisioned a future yet unnamed.
He saw towering structures of gleaming steel,
Powered by the orb's ethereal zeal.

Together with the crew, they toiled day and night,
Harnessing the orb's energy, shining bright.
Factories hummed, and homes rose high,
A testament to their ingenuity, reaching the sky.

But as they celebrated their progress and might,
A darkness loomed, casting a foreboding sight.
Whispers echoed through the corridors, so grim,
As the crew sensed an ominous presence within.

Max's heart sank, his spirit grew cold,
For he knew they had awakened something untold.
The orb's power had a dark, sinister side,
And it threatened to consume, to divide.

The once harmonious crew now faced strife,
As the orb's influence sparked a struggle for life.
Some craved its power, its intoxicating allure,
While others warned of the darkness it would ensure.

Max stood torn between duty and desire,
His engineering prowess now caught in the mire.
He saw the potential, the progress they could make,
But he couldn't ignore the ominous ache.

With heavy steps, he sought the ancient cave,
To seek wisdom from symbols, secrets to save.
He traced the carved lines, seeking answers unknown,
To decide the fate of the orb they had sown.

In the depths of the cave, a revelation appeared,
A vision of chaos, of devastation seared.
Max saw the future, bleak and torn,
The orb's power unleashed, their dreams forlorn.

Armed with this knowledge, Max returned to the crew,
To share the dire warning, to make them anew.
He pleaded for caution, to harness the orb with care,
And to seek balance, lest they fall into despair.

The crew's hearts were heavy, their spirits entwined,
They knew the path forward, the choice they must find.
With unity, they agreed to temper their might,
To protect their colony, to ensure its light.

Max and the crew now faced an arduous task,
To find a way to contain the orb's power unasked.
They sought a solution, a delicate dance,
To embrace the orb's essence without leaving a chance.

The story of the crew continues, yet unknown,
As they navigate a future yet to be shown.
In their struggle for balance, hope prevails,
As they strive to build a future where darkness pales.

You know, I've done a bit of looking around, and apparently it's plausible to use some kind of microwave laser bea, to ionize and heat up air, making it expand. In other words, a beam to create a cylinder of near vacuum. My idea then is that you can shoot something through that cylinder without worrying about air as much. Most projectiles would be so slow that ballistics trajectories would make the projectile fall out of the cylinder, or the vacuum would collapse before the projectile did much traveling, but with something like relativistic macron (or a particle beam, they might be able to exploit that vacuum cylinder to noticeably increase the effective range in an atmosphere. I still wanna get more info to see if the energy needed to create the vacuum is reasonable at all though.
>chuubanite
Ohh, now that's an idea, we know how versatile that is, that would open up all sorts of possibilities. Maybe that would be a way to do that freezing weapon? Or if chuubanite/magic plays a role in FTL travel, they could be used to weaponize wormhole shenanigans.

Forget this talk of simple shipping of Cotton, let's go all in baby. Let's found a damn business empire together and conquer the global textile market. We grow the cotton, you set up your artisans in our lands, we make a bunch of factories and we ship that across the world. You see, my friend, we have some neat inventions that I am not enclosed to reveal yet Not detailed that will transform the whole market by allowing us to produce clothing better, faster and of higher quality. Sure, it might be overly complex but you boys are rather smart and will figure it out. I'll even promise that your missionaries can do their job in my nation and pressure others to accept them. The exact details will come out later You ain't fucking me over kek. but I see a productive relationship here that will make us fucking rich baby. Yours, Mr. Moonman.

Speaking for 2434, we have no consistency with it. Fighting with pikes, and arquebuses, most people are peasant farmers, and feudalism still exists while having poison, modern ships and naval cannons, and powerful zaibatsus too. By the end of Heishin and for the next two decades that(it ends around 1148 so think by 1170) the nation would be considered like who or infinity in terms of modernisation as there are many reforms planned. A good comparison irl to us is China and Russia in the 18th and 19th centuries (Note: airships for now arent canon for me the writer since i have planned changes for them to be set in the future around 1170 or 1180 or later.)

Tech shouldn’t be taken in a vaccum because there are other things that get measured with it that determine how advanced a society is per se. We need many things such as centralisation, abolishment of feudalism, major land reform, major education reforms, etc. before i would even consider us an advanced nation as what we get by now with is our size and specialisations. With this in mind, average tech to me is a bit silly sometimes as LazuLight has a better average tech right now than 2434 overall despite not being advanced in anything but firearms perhaps.

>> No.48845185

That sounds more like divine relationships rather than the general idea that a pantheon might be evil or ruled by an evil omni diety

>> No.48855122

Realistically it's probably more like say objection or criticism of a religion. Here black company would be more like a black religion, and the main target is the religion's structure and teachings (which are extensions of its heavenly realm existence). Though unlike say complaints of how the believers conduct themselves it would be akin to pointing out the Bible (or at least the interpretation that one religion holds) is false or more likely in our case, violates some sort of moral/value.

So on Vitubia, what likely happened is that the google doc was revealed to a monk or someone similar via divination or other ways of connecting to the HR. Though here it's likely more of an event, with multiple people receiving the same information. It was then published and spread, with many that uses it to criticize the whole pantheon and religion of Nijisanji. For example stealth suspension here might be interpreted as wrong/poor treatment of the gods by the outer gods (forgot what the CEOs would be classified as). So the way in which Nijisanji's believers practice their religion would also be seen as somewhat illegitimate since they support a religion that may be "undermining" the divinity of their own diety, or something similar. It won't be a 1-to-1 translation of the reason people are calling Niji a black company, but deeply rooted in how Vitubians think of their own gods.

But it might be a point where we can use more serious discussions or written stories/lore. No many have dealt with the details of religious practices and beliefs I think.

>> No.48855427

>>48855122
Forgot to add that the criticisms of a religion's institution, belief system or their belief itself have a high likelihood of being related to other prejudices or negative imagery of the believers as well. Like the shady ways of a corpo(pantheon) would be linked to how their believers are also untrustworthy and are criminals... etc.

>> No.48856135

>>48855122
Makes sense to me. It might also encourage religious movements that worship the chuuba themselves but have an adversarial relationship to the greater pantheon, similar to /hirys/ and their crusade against Irys' shitty managers.
I think managers, CEOs and the corps as entities are probably also Heavenly entities akin to Outer Gods as you say, if we consider vtubers to be "Inner Gods". All internet entities besides vtubers can be seen as Outer Gods, with increasing separation from Vitubia imo. Most would have no contact with it, or have insignificant power.

Thing is depending on how the subject religion works and the religion of the critic, your priesthood could be "earthly" or 'heavenly". But even if the subject religion's priesthood is considered heavenly by both, the company is still a heavenly entity. If we were to translate criticism of the company onto Vitubia, then some parts of the religion itself which is built on top of the heavenly entities would be tainted in a way. The source is the heavenly entity, not the priesthood which is ultimately earthly by essence. Though I can see the (or A) priesthood bearing the blunt in some circumstances. For example the religion have them as actors and interpreter for the heavenly entities, though the ones who would be most zealous in that debate would ironically be followers of the same religion I think, who sees the priesthood and the part of the heavenly entity they represent(or support) as the cancer. So the fight between factions that support the pantheon's structure versus those that want change. Pro-management versus pro-talent factions. Though that only tells part of the story since there are still plenty of people who would level it against the whole company, not just parts, like the managers.

The crew member's name is Ava, a skilled navigator,
With a mind as sharp as a blade, and a heart full of vigor.

Ava had sailed the stars, charting courses unknown,
Guiding the crew through the vastness they had flown.
She possessed a keen intuition, a celestial sense,
Navigating their ship through cosmic turbulence.

When Max shared his revelation, Ava's eyes widened,
She sensed the urgency, the weight they were bindin'.
With her trusty charts and astrolabe in hand,
She embarked on a mission, to seek a celestial strand.

She ventured into the depths of the starlit expanse,
Seeking answers among constellations in a cosmic dance.
Through nebulas and galaxies, she weaved her way,
To uncover secrets that would light their path, she prayed.

Ava found herself on a moon bathed in silver glow,
Its surface shimmered, an ethereal beauty to bestow.
With cautious steps, she walked its alien terrain,
Seeking wisdom from the stars, the moon's domain.

Amidst the moon's craters, she discovered a hidden shrine,
Whispered tales of ancient cosmic designs.
As she deciphered the symbols, her mind awash,
With visions of the orb and the crew's impending clash.

The shrine revealed a cosmic harmony profound,
A way to balance the orb's power, she had found.
Ava rushed back to the crew, with hope in her eyes,
To guide them towards a future where darkness dies.

With Ava's guidance, they devised a sacred rite,
A ritual to harness the orb's power, to set things right.
Through their unity and understanding of the stars,
They would transcend the darkness, heal their scars.

Under the moon's gentle glow, the crew assembled,
Their hands intertwined, their spirits trembled.
They channeled their collective energy as one,
Tapping into the orb's power, a celestial union.

A surge of radiant light enveloped their beings,
As they embraced the orb's essence, the wonders it brings.
They felt its energy pulsate, harmonizing their souls,
In that moment, they became part of a cosmic whole.

The darkness that had plagued their hearts and minds,
Was replaced by a renewed sense of purpose that binds.
They emerged from the ritual, transformed and bold,
Ready to face the challenges the future would unfold.

The crew, united by their shared cosmic plight,
Embarked on a journey with renewed strength and light.
Their story continued, a tapestry of hope and endeavor,
As they sailed through the stars, their spirits to tether.

beer... bread?

>> No.48909089

Yes. Beer bread. You mix beer in the dough instead of water. The alcohol evaporates during baking leaving behind sweet barley and a little hops flavor.

curious, I never heard of it. Would hoomans harbor these types of bread?

>> No.48910816

>>48909835
Pretty sure they have beer, barley or wheat flour, and sugar. Sanallites can make it easy after some experimentation. Though we'd probably make bread from mead or rum first. Anyway bedtime.

https://rentry.org/cdohq
Been forever since I last posted anything of substance. Remember I said I would write something about /hlgg/ soonish™ a long time ago. And there were also some renewed talk about /jp/ and the history of the great nations of Vitubia so here it is. It's still a draft and is based on posts I made before.
For more context here is what I wrote about the history before:

Oh also most of the names and titles are really just placeholders. I plan to replace them all with holo-dhennet words. Though with English translations of course. I don't really feel like just calling it Empire at least in Holo-dhennet but I find the idea that it's sort of what other peoples think of when speaking of Empire interesting.

>>48909835
Why not but they are probably more so specialties rather than something commonly found in bakeries all over I guess.

Ah, so the Great Houses are how religion and politics get bound together? Interesting, and makes sense for global.
>Kathenotheism
New word to me! Neat, very fitting. I like the idea that the different cults officiate different occasions, that draws nicely from various IRL polytheistic religions. What would followers of Mumei officiate?
Do you think there have been changes of dynasty? Are there mechanisms for that?

Yeah dynasties that last for a millennia are pretty rare. I think realistically the Imperial Dynasty have in fact changed hands, albeit only over to a different branch as a result of conflict between the fanbases. Need to work out the details but here I think the Emperor's (especially the later ones) role means that power struggles are really "exported" outside of his palace instead.
Also I don't know, blessing new Imperial chronicles and new libraries?

>>48930234
The Council that handles policing would probably be controlled by the Ahijos so yeah. The uniform would likely be influenced by Subaru.

The Council of Undertakers would be a bit spicy... Might have been vied for by the Fandead and deadbeats until the zoombies added to the confusion, and then there was a small political vacuum in the office when [Deleted].
People who work with the dead tends to be seen in a sinister light historically, so that kinda makes sense in terms of reputation.

The Huul from /who/ and the first vnug tale from /vnug/ have detailed descriptions of two suits, and vrt and luna also mention them in their lore.
Is picrel your work? Very nice, re-entry kino.
