Depends what you mean. Does the entire premise have to be about being a band? Despite a shift in focus, the big corpo vtuber groups are still fundamentally idol groups, which makes them a type/subset of band. I write and produce original songs, plus instrumentals for covers, and then force my main collab partner to sing them with me, no matter how bad they are, if that counts.

Except I can hear the noise gate opening and closing, there's a background white noise when she speaks.
She shouldn't use a noise suppression filter because that would ruin the ASMR but she should have something to remove the ambient noise. I think I use ReaFIR in subtract mode with an automatic noise profile for that, but I don't know much about ASMR.

Well, at the very least, start with pngtubing unless you're going to stream on an alt without a cam. The whole point of vtubing is having kayfabe as a character. But yeah, try streaming out first in general and see if you'll even like it. Everyone has this idea in their head about how glamourous vtubing is, since they see all the cool corpos and big indie vtubers having fun with their chat, but starting from zero is the toughest part. A lot of people get discouraged when they have to open up to strangers they've never met, fill dead air with commentary, or even stream to an audience of 0-1 viewers. Just remember that all those big vtubers started out the same exact way, for the most part.
You can also try networking too while you start off, that's probably the most important thing apart from actually streaming. Getting to know people who can support you can help you in the long run, like Runoxi for example, who knew a decent amount of people before starting, she ended up debuting with a decent crowd as a result.

Slightly put off, Beryl just laughed a bit before one of his mods deleted the message. Hell, the fact that he'd been streaming for 4 months (albeit whenever he felt like it) and having some odd fan like that finally show up had probably been a long time coming! He put the slightly odd donation message in the back of his mind and continued on for the rest of the stream as normal.

He looked around the lab and noticed it was unusually quiet, not even for the sound of security wandering the halls outside. He put away his phone and kept shuffling awkwardly around the lab, trying to avoid any equipment that he could barely see the outlines of in the darkness.

He felt a chill go down his spine and looked up at the ceiling. He wasn't sure what it was, but something was definitely off. The darkness seemed to have thickened, making him unable to see more than a few feet in front of him. He started walking forward, not sure if he was making any progress or not. He was definitely tired, but even the fatigue from the day wouldn’t dull his senses that things didn’t seem right. Hi, just gonna ignore everything happening above me and say that I think I am mentally prepared to collab. Actually that kind of brings up an interesting question. Has anyone tried putting a compressor and/or expander on a music line to equalize the sound levels to be more predictable? I was kind of struggling with keeping some songs at a good level yesterday, it can be really difficult on more dynamic kinds of music, even within a single track there would be a big difference between the lows and the highs at times.

Yeah. Overlays I tend to dislike and only use in rare cases. I probably need to step up my overlay game for certain cases like this. Game actually isn't that bad as far as randoms searching for it goes. It's not a super popular game, but it does have a very dedicated fan base with a very low number (usually 0) of people playing it at my one time, so it kind of evens out overall for a small streamer that can't dominate bigger categories with their normal ccv.

I'm not sure about colors yet, but it really needs them, so let me break down what you're seeing here.

The idea is that he's an angel that fell from Heaven, but really regrets it. He's got some scars from the Fall (hence his left side being mangled and burnt, exposing a more demonic nature underneath), but he clings to his angelic appearance on the right. He tries to be the best person he can, but sometimes his new demonic nature gets the better of him.

It might be hard to tell, but he technically has no torso-- it's just cloth winding around a core. That's supposed to be a fetus at the center.

The thing stuck in his head used to be his halo, which took the form of a chariot wheel. There's also a shard of it attached to the chain attached to his collar.
