Merch profit margin is so low because ordering small/minimum amount of manufacturer is costly. That is something that can improve if they get bigger. It's big and flashy so people want it to succeed and that tends to translate into meaning it will succeed.

The first ever 3D VTuber concert in the USA is happening and it's coming out of Production Kawaii, that should be BIG NEWS. They beat Hololive and Niji in arranging this. It's super aggressive and should be making waves.

While they themself had good number from brand name and the novelty, holo itself is still fighting its own war regarding pushing idol culture to the west.
