I don't think fan art usually converts well into viewership, for males or females. You can certainly get Twitter followers if you are good but Twitter follows notoriously don't translate well at all into viewers. Maybe your best bet would be using high quality fan art to befriend male chuubas that are getting something like 10-30 average ccv. Males at this level of viewership often don't get much fan art, to say nothing of getting good fanart so they might really appreciate it. Then if you can get into their circles you can start collabong or getting raided by them and you can start getting a following that way.

I feel like doing fanart as a networking tool and not out of genuine passion (either love for the chuuba or just because you think their design would be fun to draw, either way) is a sad way to live life
