I think Ame was trying to protect her in her own weird, stubborn way. A lot of teamates were in her chat constantly trying to groom her so maybe by saying she wasn't interested at all they might have stopped. I don't think it worked and they ended up oshihen'ing to Uto but I don't think it was out of spite.

Uto escaped to twitch because she got too big too fast as a streamer from the hololive collab which is pretty deadly as an indie without any safety/support network. She had some identity crisis regarding what she wanted her stream to be and I think the pressure ultimately got to her, shame.

I've had a similar thought, but for a different reason: Amelia knew that many of her viewers were the "bully streamer" types, who were attracted to her due to how easily Ame would rage at games, and didn't want them to spill over to Uto and do the same thing to her, especially considering how much more fragile Uto appeared to be.

There could be other reasons of course, but I think it's believable considering Amelia's shown herself to be a pretty caring person, albeit socially strange.
