Think of a debut as an ad people go out of their way to see, corpos do them because a corpo gives you a loose idea of how the chuubas in them will be, so the debut is mostly for people to check if they want to watch regular streams. The only two problems would be production quality depending on how much you’re willing to spend, and whether or not people are still willing to watch pre-recorded content in a day and age where live-streaming vtubers is the most prominent. I can see it being hard for something like this to gain traction and go past 2views too. Low memeability/clippability, in a field that's saturated on the bottom end, and where entire careers are made by clips, memes and shorts.

i tried something like this, basically zero reaction and no engagement. if you have nobody that cares about you it's hard for random people to get invested. tsugu is also one of my biggest inspirations but if you can't keep the illusion up that you are a girl, it's difficult.

Just about ready to start streaming, and so instead of streaming live, I decided to record some "practice" streams to get the hang of OBS, test things out and also to see how I fare talking without the pressure of being live. I'm so happy I did this! For one thing, figured out a huge issue with my audio setup. Also got some great stuff to edit into shorts/tiktok videos/for twitter. And I was worried about whether I'd be able to talk with an audience of zero...totally fine! I had a lot of fun. I'm really excited.
