This analysis has been updated to examine the veracity of the talents’ statements on Yuri’s termination.

I have applied my considerable autism to analyzing why Yuri was fired. These are my findings.

According to the official announcement from Phase Connect, the following can be reasonably assumed factual.

>Yuri was fired and her graduation is effective May 1.

No specific reason has been publicly given; however, there are several clues that indicate the reason. These come from a mixture of statements from the official announcement, statements by other talents, and observed personal characteristics of Yuri and Sakana.

In his interview with Slugma he also made statements lamenting the lack of professional behavior on the part of the talents, implying that he values some form of commonly accepted code of business decorum.

Sakana has knowingly tolerated Pippa’s affiliation with Kiwi Farms and has made individuals who engaged in doxing of his talents and others, among them granthh, moderators or other affiliates of his company.

One must assume that, in fact, multiple breaches of contract were committed. This statement would be legally actionable if false and Sakana has demonstrated consideration of legal matters in past conversations.

Sakana has given no official response to any of the supposedly controversial statements made by any of the talents. It has been speculated that the rare apology by one of the talents was prompted by the corporate leadership but this speculation has little supporting evidence. Despite the infrequency of apologies issued by the talents and no official corporate response, Phase Connect is considered a yabai company. Additionally, there are no known recent statements by Yuri that could be construed as this type of statement.

Thus, it is reasonable to assume that the breaches of contract somehow endangered his acquisition or retention of profit.

For further insight into the nature of the contract breaches, one must examine evidence in the form of Yuri’s relevant personal characteristics and statements or actions by other talents.

The reasonable conclusion after eliminating all possibilities is that Panko’s statement should be interpreted as a statement about Yuri’s reputation among vtubing fans.

The natural question to ask is how the remaining possibilities might ruin Yuri’s reputation among vtubing fans.

Vtubing fans approve of vtuber association with Kiwi Farms, 4chan, or other problematic groups. A post purporting to be Yuri posted a goodbye post in /pcg/ which appeared to be well received when interpreting the tone of the replies.

There are no known recent controversial statements by Yuri.

>Sexual relationships that impact profit acquisition would ruin Yuri’s reputation among vtubing fans.
Sexual relationships have ruined vtubers’ reputations and forced graduations. It is reasonable to assume this would befall Yuri as well were she to find herself in this situation.

As this is the only remaining possibility that meets all constraints, this must be the behavior resulting in breach of contract. Due the difficulty of constructing a likely hypothesis where sexual favors were exchanged for funds obtained by embezzlement without resulting in additional Phase Connect terminations, Occam’s razor suggests that Yuri was trading sexual favors for income and concealing that income from Sakana. Furthermore, it is reasonable to assume the external friend group that enabled this behavior was some mixture of pimps and johns and were engaged in the behavior.
