To be honest, I agree with you, and I'll go as far to tell you that I said as much to the organizer. I wanted to be with /774/ and I made it clear from the start. It was originally intended to be a half EN half JP team that were only discussed in their individual threads (hence "who the fuck").
There will never be a combination that makes every individual team (of which there are 36) happy. The compromise here was to be with Niji Jp, and that was the best compromise I could manage. There are not so many Jp focused teams. Let alone non holo / non single vtuber teams. The sora thread, indie, vspo, none of these threads have their own teams, just for example.
In the first place, VTL is about unity. I'm not the kind of person who is going to make a big deal about our niche team being shuffled around. So we can either agree to be with them, or pull out entirely and ask them to fill the spot with a dead team. I will not complain either way, but I will await further feedback in the poll to give more anons a chance. This will give me the best idea about how our posters actually feel. So it is important that vsinger anons vote if they want me to hear it. Any regular posters already know this, but I am not the original anon who brought divegrass to this thread.
I'd prefer to make this decision with as big of a sample size as possible, but I can't force people to open the link and vote. The best thing I can do is to ask nicely for you to click on the link and vote, so I can know how you feel.
I was more pumped to make hype videos for the old team than the new team, but it is what it is. I'll deal with it with a smile on my face, if you will too. If /vsinger/ as a thread wants this, I will put in the work to represent the thread as best as I can. However, if the majority of anons don't want to be a part of this, I won't waste my time. You already know I like Gura. But I only watch Gura for her singing and (sometimes but not always) zatsu. Well, she doesn't stream so much in the first place, so it's irrelevant. I don't want to watch girls play vidya, I'd rather play them myself. Also, Gura isn't even my oshi.
I don't really post Gura here for a reason. I think Reflect sucks. I also think her DECO*27 song (Sweet Appetite) is bad. I think it's pathetic that she has been active for 2.5 years and her best singing content is still through live streaming. What were those Monogatari covers? They were mixed awfully. When she talked on members stream about how she couldn't get her Queen cover out because it would cost her $200k, I did the biggest "wtf" face I could manage. What the hell is she talking about? It doesn't cost $200k to release a cover.
She hasn't done karaoke for months, which is one of the only things I make it a priority to tune in for. I think she has a nice voice, and it's pleasant on my ears. But, it was more fun to use her as a shitpost for /vsinger/. If anons voted her out for VTL5, I'd accept it no problem (reminder, she was voted in the team by other anons). Still, I won't lie, it's fun to shitpost with the shark.

Closing this out now as the percentages have risen fairly evenly throughout the day. Almost the whole thread seems to have voted.
~60% of anons want to continue with the tag team as is.
~80% of anons are interested in divegrass, including those who were unhappy about losing our original tag team
~20% of anons uninterested in divegrass under any situation.
Based on the results I will leave us signed up for the tag team. It will be played over 2 days only (August 4th and 5th).
Separately, VTL5 sign-ups will begin in early August, and at that point I will re-poll for interest, roster, music. VTL5 won't take place until October, so if we proceed, there won't be any kind of rush like last time.

Not for tag team. The tag team matches will use VTL4 models. That's why I said in an earlier post that the tag team won't really require feedback.
But it's a cute idea and we will definitely get our own ball requested for VTL5. Right now the only suggestion was a Poyuta (which i didnt have time to suggest on vtl4 due to the rush), so we can put Poki next to that when poll time comes (plus any other suggestion).
