I enjoy wrestling at times. Never really much of an active watcher of it.

Has HFZ moved to the new edition and decided to actually go there or is it now split between three versions with only the ENs and the most popular JPs (or the one's that OP wants to push) being there

What would I give to have a holostar with even half of the charisma and entertainment skill of Stone Cold Steve Austin

>> No.47924289

my dude I have not looked at one second of modern wrestling since the WWF got cucked by a bunch of fake environmentalists

The fact of the matter is brother modern wrestling is now filled with a bunch of gymnast jabronies

Used to love it as a kid during the time when Stone Cold and The Rock were at their peak, but now I barely watch it at all.

Hate it, like a shitty soap opera for teenage boys. I had a very slight passing interest back in high school (almost 20 years ago now) but that was me just trying to fit in. I will say I do like watching old Macho Man Randy Savage promos because I find those hilarious.

I guess it becomes the waiting game for people I care about to get in.
Doesn't help that Lamy ranked so bad in the popularity charts she got in the Bottom 8 Ladder match and only by luck won because AI decided to suddenly bang out 4+ on the minigame to get the box.
Wins the QoJ on cash in, which wasn't an amazing match from a technical point of view (and was overshadowed by the god awful title match that was shorter than Towa's 22 intro) and promptly gets it taken from her by the first challenger and promptly shelved again.

At least they can wrestle unlike say Hogan who barely could do anything but the most basic bitch moves. How he got popular is one of the great mysteries of The Company.

Randy cut amazing promos as he fully embraced how over the top they were even with the Slim Jim commercials he could work with how insane they were. "ART THOU BORED?!"

Not even the biggest issue with modern stuff. Biggest issue is that when villains do villainous shit people get pissed at the company and its "booking" rather than the villains, not enough people buy into the fantasy they're watching. Second-biggest issue is that too many people know how the magic trick is done, they understand bumps/spots/common booking dynamics and the magic is gone. It's why Hogan can be so huge doing punches and a finger point but the gymnast shitters can't get a quarter of that reaction nearly killing themselves.

Retard, Hogan could wrestle. Look at his JP matches. Being a 3 move of doom baby face in the US was just what was popular at the time. Why work harder and fuck up your body when you could do the bare minimum and still get over?

sad part is that he still fucked up his body with the leg drop, he really should've had a different finisher
