This was really good. I don’t know if you’ve written for this place before but your prose was decent and I liked the metaphors/similes. As the other anons mentioned, the dialogue was a bit awkward at times and formatted pretty badly. That’s about the only criticism I have though, this was a fun read and I liked the ending. Looking forward to chapter 2!

You're a bit long winded with your descriptions and the first part after the introduction is a bit too much 'tell' rather than show but I really like how you've adapted the idea. The dialogue you've made is very endearing, there's a cute awkwardness that makes that Mori scene perfect.
I hope you're going to write more chapters as even if this doesn't do the hypnosis part the chadcast shenanigans more than makes up for it.
Also isn't IRyS's 'true' last name canonically Hoozuki from the copyright filing?
