Actually, fishman had intended on rushing out Gen 3 after Gen 2 on the basis that the models were already premade and just needed sad girls to pilot them. Fans and talent apparently kicked up about this on the basis that Gen 2 weren't getting enough time to grow, so fishman held back on Gen 3 for a while longer.

PC Gen 3 is probably out by June or July. But we all know Idol will promote their Gen 2 better, with the excessive shilling ads and all that. Plus they will probably mog Phase anyway, especially when the Idol talent get full control of how their model is, Phase forced premade models with barely any customisations for Gen 3 which probably doesn't look good on fishman. He can't compete against the jews and he won't throw money at promoting Gen 3.

Besides, he can have as many gens as he wants, they will still stream at the same time as the rest and there will be dead hours still.
