That's just for like putting them in and out, if you meant sleeping with them, it's...I wouldn't say pain, more like irritation. Because your eye basically couldn't moisturise while you were asleep due to the lens being on top of it, slight movements of the lens will cause severe irritation. I basically can't open my eyes all the way when it's like that, but it's also extremely easy to get them out once you're used to it, so I never had to suffer more than like a min or two, and once you get them out, blinking a few times will get rid of most irritation, and the rest goes away in like a minute.

Also about them getting lost behind your eye, that is physically impossible. they can get to a hard to reach place, sure, where you need to look for them for a bit, but never, and I mean never, can they get stuck in a place where you can't get them out. Eyes just ain't structured like that. And just getting them out of place in the first place is difficult, since the eye is not a perfect ball, it's actually got a little bump where the iris starts, and lenses are made to fit on that bump. So if it somehow falls off of it, it won't fit right and be bent over the middle, in which case you will usually pick it up by blinking and either set it back in(tho that is rare) or just make it fall our of your eye.

I still think Tetris Effect is the only real way to play Tetris at the moment. Consistently updated with new content over the years, solid gameplay including the much needed nerfed combo table so you throw less garbage blocks over at your opponent at a time, beautiful visuals, and of course great netcode compared to the other one. Just a great product all around and that is probably why they don't have permissions for it somehow.

To start with, the Connected Update added multiplayer since it started off as a singleplayer game in 2018. Then they also updated the VR recently to support the new PlayStation release as VR was always a big selling point.
The other new content is new modes such as now being able to play old school Tetris as a singleplayer mode, meaning no holds, no hard drops, and completely random mino block patterns. Modes with more toggleable rulesets like that for both casual and more competitive flavors.

Yeah, the argument often made against Effect is it is meant to just relax to so you can't treat it super seriously like super serious Puyo Puyo Tetris (snicker) for some reason.
But that ignores the fact the game lets you do things like make the puzzle board bigger so it covers the entire screen, make the mino blocks NOT have unique patterns per level theme which makes them harder to see, turn off many particle effects etc. You don't need to play the game like a stoner would if you don't want to.

But I do understand using the ASMR mic to basically do roleplay. Hearing somebody that you find alluring/that you like, whispering sweet nothings into your ear. Either a relaxation think or a sexual thing. Maybe both. I've had the pleasure of having a crush do something like that before (she was just teasing), and it's like going to heaven.

while im not arguing with the semantics here, i think you are casting a very tight net over what makes ASMR good/ worth for some people. I love Bae's take on ASMR, it being kind of a ''listen to this cool sound while i talk'' but i find ASMR like fauna's completely offputting, and i think that's what Op's problem with it comes from
so yes, ASMR is really hit or miss, and just because you feel a connection to the chuuba it doesnt fix that weirdness
