It's weird to say the least. The first 2 were your standard doble-elimination format with all matches being a best of 1 except the finals (Winners, Losers and Grand) being first to 2 and I don't know if there is a bracket reset since both times the champion was the team that came from Winners, tho generally resets are reserved for 1v1 games like fighting games. For the last 2 things got really weird being a round robin format that after all teams played with each other they decide the winners based on placement, so the 1st plays with the 2nd, the 3rd with the 4th and so on, and the final matches all happen at the same time for some reason. I don't know where the fuck they took this idea from and I can't say I'm a big fan of it, but they went back to the first format on their most recent, pro-player only tournament, so maybe it wasn't a big success with the fans either.

It was expected when we're close to their 4th anniversary and they still haven't grow in a significant way, with many having similar metrics they had more than 2 years ago. While Cover is having troubles finding a good way to advertise them better they still invested in 2 concerts, Uproar's Shibuya ad campaign and a lot of other stuff that didn't translate into numbers they looking for, so the downsizing was unfortunately extremely predictable.
