Peko knew next to nothing about tetris really and Sui doesn't have much experience with Puyo so they had no idea how insanely OP Marine would be against anyone else in the tournament. I saw earlier today someone said that Marine is joining coaches for next one and that they might be separating tourneys so that puyo plays with puyo and tetris plays with tetris. That would actually provide some nice competition on tetris side between Okayu, Korone and Koyori. It's not my favorite Mori release, and I think a lot of people /here/ are at least a little guilty of putting it on a pedestal, but it is the establishment of the quintessential Mori sound(tm) and the transition from beginning to the middle, as early Mori's sound was more experimental and trying to find her footing, with echoes of what came before. This was a really big step for her musically, as the production values skyrocketed from how humble DEAD BEATS began, and holoMyth was still dominating the vtubersphere so huge amounts of eyes were on her still. The success of this EP is probably what legitimized her musical career in the eyes of the larger industry, who would start talking to her not too long after its release. Even if I might not like some of them as much as most do, every song is iconic.
