Assuming you're in burgerland, Cerave and The Ordinary are generally good brands that are widely available in stores/online and not terribly expensive.
My main advice is to use a gentle cleanser and a sunscreen, depending on your skincare needs.
Star small, avoid products with a bunch of common irritants, wear sunscreen. A VERY basic routine could be:

Oil Cleanser (Hadalabo, on Amazon)

currently, for the nights ive been using the SA cleanser, followed up by the haruharu toner, snail essence, the somebymi serum and the madecera cream. the cream itself has significantly evened out my skin and im really happy with it! in the daytime i just wet my face, toner, then the Innisfree jeju oil serum (sunscreen etc after. the no sebum powder by innisfree has been great for my oily spots.) i might have to give the soon jung cream a go when i can since the full size Madecera cream is super pricy and the tube keeps leaking.
i feel like you use cushion foundations, is there any you recommend or do you not use them?

I don't wear foundation. I use Glossier concealer under my eyes and anywhere my skin could use a little evening out. I can't find a cushion foundation that isn't fragranced. I need DEWY and low coverage. It doesn't exist.
Right now, Romand Han All Fix Mascara is my favorite. Been reaching for Romand Lasting Tint in Bare Grape and Peripera Velvet Ink in Strawberry Nude. I usually use two colors to contour a tiny bit. (Darker on sides, light in the middle of my lips)
Anyway, good call on the soon jung. I try to avoid really pricey products. They are never worth it.
