If the cudnn option doesn’t work for you (it did for me tho), you might want to look into updating your PyTorch to pytorch2.0+cu118 which allows you to use —opt-sdp-attention which should be even faster than the currently often used combination of pytorch1.X+xformers+cudnn files.

You can upgrade torch on a previous installation of sdui, but I would recommend doing it on a fresh install so you can easily go back if it doesn’t work for you.
I got an increase from ~30it/s to 34it/s with the new attention model on my 4090. Also note that you *must* not put —xformers into your arguments after upgrading pytorch, else sdui downgrades your torch back to 1.X.

Hey, I've tested the cudnn and disabled the Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling . It doubled my speed but I'm still averaging on 13-14 it/s.
Plus I just discovered that the GPU Scheduling is needed for DLSS 3 Frame Generations. Though I never turn FGbecause damn the visual artifacts, I'll need to check whether it also impacts DLSS too.

Dropping --no-half-vae after switching to a VAE that wasn't trained by monkeys lol novelai gave me about as big a speed boost as going to Torch 2.0 did...

Anyways, if you really really like how it looks and don't want to change too much - you can try the nansless version of clearvae: https://civitai.com/models/22354?modelVersionId=29968 or just adjust saturation afterwards for images made with SD or WD VAEs that come out too saturated - all 4 of those VAE never ever give the nans error

IIRC some people use a face-crop to crop a large enough image centered around a face so that the model learns an artists face style better. Otherwise it's more difficult if all your images are e.g. full body images.
There's an option for that in kohya_ss I think. It's based on a fine-tuned YOLOv5 model.

And again - these are anecdotes m8. Blessed, ClearVAE, and NovelAI all technically work without --no-half-vae. I got the same number of nans errors with the three of them - because they're functionally for the part that spits nans out the same.

I use this as my command stuff.
Someone told me to try out torch 2.0 and it works, i cant tell you if its any better or not.
It may have been you actually now that I think about it..

And I can use most of the upscalers if i stick to 512x512, DIMM and SCUTNET or whatever like to error but I think i need specific files for that to work so I don't think its an issue.

I do have two monitors plugged in though, 2560x1600 and 1920x1200 - one is in 10-bit mode too - and a VR headset that I think never gives up ALL of the VRAM it uses 100%. so I'm using more VRAM than "usual" just idling at the desktop. if it BSODs on me first try, then I might disconnect everything but 1 monitor and see what happens

Found the problem.

So it seems if you get this problem it's caused by any sort of additional network addon?

I've been prompting since december and I still had the extension installed that enabled LoRA use before it was integrated - I never utilized it post-integration but it was still just there; now it was causing the issue that the other anons' LoCon extension was causing.

Now I have another problem though.

I use CutOff to prompt colours better and whenever I enable it, I get this error now and the gen fails immediately.

yeah it can do lots. if you want to pre-grab tags most useful when grabbing from danbooru, bit less useful for gelbooru, then significantly less useful then make this change. I was using md5 as the filename to avoid image duplicates when grabbing from multiple sources, so I also used md5 as the filename for the tag.txt

It doesn't just make the image slightly worse, it basically means you cannot reproduce any prompt that has a weight in it properly if it was tested in WebUI. It breaks all WebUI prompts that have weights for ComfyUI. And comfyUi absolutely burns, and causes hard contrast line when weighting as you have to go way harder on weights than with WebUI

So the special sauce behind this model is that it isn't based on any AOM or Anything based models. It also says EasyNegative is required, and that badhandv4 is highly recommened, but to use it like this:

The precursor models are OpenJourney, Counterfeit, AnimePastelDream, basil_mix, and epiCrealism
I can tell this is based on counterfeit from the fact that it is almost has exactly the same shot composition as another counterfeit based image I made.
