I can't think of any artists I've seen that specifically advertise "no males" but I've definitely seen artists that couldn't do male forms that weren't the anime generic femboy "draw a girl call it a boy if flat enough" thing. Artists who are very skilled at male forms are either very bara focused (like Atlas Vos's extremely horny artist) or in a position where they do it professionally (Nat Vitchayed and 5igman come to mind), or both. That's more a demand thing than anything else since the majority of art in the consumer market is either focused on cute girls doing cute things or lewd things happening to girls from faceless male shapes/floating ghost dicks. So you end up with a number of extremely talented artists who do very extremely good male forms in an absolute ocean of artists who almost exclusively draw female characters.

I personally prefer simple designs but there's a reason "vroid male in a hoodie" is such a stereotypical bad design. you need something that stands out, without going full Sparkledog about it. A lot of people default to animal ears and I mean, that works, but it isn't necessary. You can have a unique hair style, or a specific accessory, or just a consistent motif to your outfit without it being overbearing.

Well lets compare a few examples from gen4 to give an idea of what makes a good design.

We'll start with Runoxi. Her design is pretty straightforward when you get down to it. A very safe and conventional one.
She's a cute girl with nice tits and shows a lot of skin. Realistically you could change her color palette and do all sorts and she'd still work.

Now lets look at Denpa. Her design is a bit more scuffed and busy.
But it still works because? Cute girl with bigs tits and that mole to draw your eye.
Generally speaking you can't go wrong with a cute girl with big tits.

So lets look at ones who break this mold.
Lcolonq. Now he's probably the most unique one in gen4 because he's got that whole ASCII art thing going on. Which is good. It makes him standout, makes fanart a pain to pin on him because lol ASCII art. But he stands out because of it.

Olgas model may as well be a guy. No tits and no curves. But it works for what she's going for in terms of her streams. This is where we get into the realm of model fitting the streamer.
If the model fits the streamer very well then it doesn't really matter what it is.
Digby is another great example of this. Like Olga he's aiming for a comfy stream environment where everyone can enjoy themselves. So he's gone for the cat. Everyone agrees cats are cute and he chose a model that is big round and adorable.
