When I want to get into a new genre of music, I just take a look at what are the top ranked albums for that genre in Rate Your Music. I did pretty much the same thing with Nijisanji, I checked out from here https://virtual-youtuber.userlocal.jp/office/nijisanji_all who have the highest subcounts and took a quick look at their content and clips. Then when I started watching some of the top members I got exposed to the rest of Nijisanji through them organically, and eventually when I pretty much completed my project and the novelty of Nijisanji wore off, I realized that Hololive was better after all.
