Not that I know of, no. I watch her and some Kawaii girls occasionally when there's nothing good on in HoloEN, and I've never really seen much anything from her that'd indicate she's a particular Kiara fan. Though of course maybe she is and I just missed it, but that would be something better asked in the /pkg/ thread as they know more about her and could tell you.

I appreciate it on an abstract level because Kiara was willing to experiment and try a sound that is slightly outside the usual vtuber jpop fare.
But taken on its own I have to admit it's probably her worst song, all her other songs have much more air time in my playlist, and it doesn't pass the "ok, let's remove Kiara and my emotional investment in her from the song, would I even care for it if it was just some random song from random stranger?" - test.
I could enjoy all her other songs (some more, some less, of course) if they didn't have Kiara attached to them and were just random songs from the radio, I'd still want to listen to them again occasionally, but with Fever Night I really wouldn't care for it in any way if it didn't come from Kiara, which is for me the true and final test if a song is actually good on its own.

This MV costed a fuckton, that's what I remember, about a couple million yens is what Marine said apparently. Generally a whole project doesn't go for that much, the MV is definitely the most expensive, though, for a new song release. Kiara usually pushes a song hard until it reaches 1 million views, and while it's a bit of a reach since she doesn't talk about it in terms of exact numbers, it's a pretty safe assumption that that's where Cover/Kiara deems that the effort was worth it. I'd say an average Hololive MV with everything considered (instrumentals, mixing, MV animation, character designs, logos) costs minimum 5-6k dollars, since that's what the video makes with 1 million views from ads, digital purchases and superchats roughly.

I think I vaguely remember (but I don't have quotes available, so I might be berensteining myself) Gura mentioning her anime mv was breaking in the low six figure cost range, although the details are of course unclear if that's all out of her own pocket or there's some splits, plus that's obviously only the very high end of MVs, as most others are more or less glorified slideshows with still images manipulated and effects plastered on them.

God, I just want a world where Kiara can do more off-collabing with her genmates, or hell even the ID girls at this point. She was in Japan in the beginning, and despite the much better offcollab potential there, she was overall pretty miserable there and is now generally much happier living in austria. The fact that she's also not itching to permanently relocate again (yes, even if she misses out on some potential opportunities) should also tell you her thoughts on the matter. It's enough for her to do a work visit to JP/NA/ID maybe ever quarter or half a year, at least that was her original plan and only held back in the last years due to the pandemic, but that's how it's gonna be.

If you want that to change, you'd have to change so much about Kiara (and should a fan not prioritize her happiness more than selfishly whining about muh missed offcollabs?), for example you'd have to kill her cats to start with and her attachment to home sickness. Also, where should she even go to? Besides JP, if she went to NA for example I can pretty much guarantee you there will be no marked improvement in offcollabs to make it worthwhile. How do I know this? The simple fact that all other the NA girls already offcollab so little with each other, it shows that it doesn't matter. They're still too spread out and antisocial, that's not gonna change if Kiara would also move to NA.

IRyS and Bae spend a lot of time together offstream and hanging out on discord, sometimes including Mori. Kiara is one of the few who isn't really THAT close to anyone in EN, with Ina and Ame. Anon global barely reaches 1500 posts anymore, even with Gura and Fauna both streaming minecraft at the sametime about a week ago it was only able to get to about 1200 posts. Nothing, there's just much more going on in the catalog these days. From there being far more vtubers and agencies then there was back in 2021 or even early to middle 2022, and the constant surge of drama causes the catalog to move much faster. Global still gets the same amount of IPs as it normally does, it's just that it struggles to reach 1500 posts without multiple ENs on or big streams in general without being pushed off due to the fast moving catalog.
