today is the day of /vt/'s first of 2 friendlies. as was said last thread any changes would be announced here. me and the other manager have decided after plenty of mutual fuckups and poor handling of this we're washing our hands of this and just taking top 23. except watamelon who we're stil merging with watamage and numbers queen whose votes we're merging with numbersnumbersnumbers. people didnt seem to really mind watamelon and i shouldnt have put watamelon on the poll to begin with while watamage was already a medal and we use a watamelon ball. and as the other manager will tell you that graph was really fucked and we didnt notice it immediately

the system i mostly came up with had too many corner cases for how strict id say things would be handled and i should have been more strict with the other manager instead of allowing him to mostly handle initial slot allocation by himself due to the fact i had been the one who came up with most ideas up to that point. He thought being representative with the slot systemwas more important than doing it by straight vote which i said would have been the case itt. and i was too tired to really fight him on that and thought what would have come out of doing that would have been more representative as well so i said sure. as for why so many things were skipped over even when taking that into account things said to have been general board memes were always said to be skipped in the slot system but thats not important at this point.

we're going to do things differently in the future, how so? we dont know. probably not going to discuss it so much next time and however we do decide to do it even if flawed its just gonna be done that way and thats how itll be. maybe not so many options next time as all the options didnt seem to make people happy, but more so just give them more things to be angry about. either way enjoy the friendly against /an/ ill get the link posted right as the current match is ending

thank you for coming out everyone, will prob make the thread a little earlier next time so people have longer to see it. tomorrow is the 2nd and last (everyone was only given 2 friendly slots unfortunately) friendly. we'll be playing /cm/ about the same time as today. whether the aes will still be in the /meat/ dimension im not sure
