I think most people are either completely indifferent to mixed collabs or at worst find them mildly annoying/amusing. Me personally, I'm not a unicorn because I don't care about my oshi's virginity or whatever they do in their own time, but I do get lumped in with them all the time because I don't want male collabs. I will never say this in chat or youtube comments though, for the aforementioned reasons. Instead, I'll just hope my oshi knows her audience well enough and keeps her current course.

Not the same at all, and you can tell because there was limited backlash among JP unicorns/gachis. There was no real interaction or communication with the male minecraff players beyond being in the same server since they were in separate voice chats. Kanata is still very clear about never directly collabing with male VTubers (stars or otherwise), and none of the girls in that collab have even interacted with the Stars besides Laplus offstream.
