Sure, some of the moments were near insurmountably cringe, but that's what made it so special and unique for me. Pure kinesthetic.

I love Mythbreakers, and I want it to return in some capacity.

Not everyone in the group enjoyed it as much. If any TTRPG happens in the future it should include (Lol)IRyS and Fauna.

>> No.46451971

I don't think Ina can do it. Ame would need to approach it different too. Watoto was an atrocious character and it felt like she didn't realize what the world of darkness setting was like. She's a great role player though.

The individual sessions were pretty great, particularly Gura and Ina. Gura specially shone and for once I understood why chumpedophiles like her so much.

Once the scheduling conflicts began it was over, though. That's the main killer of tabletop campaigns.

It won't.
One or more people doesn't like doing it.
Maybe if/when EN3 comes out they'll have enough people interested to make a group.

i can see why it ended. It's a struggle these days to get all 5 of Myth together. Hell, even when they were all in Japan they still couldn't manage it. I still hope it will conclude somehow, but its been over a year at this point...

Let Fauna DM, do it in DnD with classic fantasy setting, Council and Irys only. One-shots only which have to finish within single stream even if it takes 4-5 hours.

They're literally free to make their own schedules, there is no conflict if they really want to do it. It was clear not all of them were into it, let alone into it with each other and the conflicting personalities there are.

>>46455083
They literally did, but it showed just how painfully they aren't a unit. It isn't a struggle to get the time, it's a struggle to get them to care. Mori and Kiara sat there talking, Ina and Ame basically sat on the fringe playing with the cats, and Gura might as well not have been there for all 3 words she managed to shit out of her mouth the entire time. She had enough energy to shill out a one hour members only GFE literally right before that stream, but suddenly was "too tired" afterward to contribute absolutely anything.

how is the homo campaign going?
considering the fact that I haven't seen much posts about them after the first steam, I suppose they haven't had another session yet.

Didn't one of them want to quit, but instead of revealing who it was and just moving on without them, they just cancelled the whole thing entirely? LMAO. And now if they ever bring it back without the missing person, we'll know whose fault it was.

>>46451591
It still pisses me off that they quit right before the final session. I get that someone (I'm guessing Ina) wasn't enjoying herself, but when you're doing it as a professional entertainer you should be willing to stick it out a bit for the sake of the audience. It's Pirates of Dark Water all over again.

They should've stuck the original plan like a mini-series or season instead of making changes where they over-promised more sessions until that was cut down. If there was interest, then they could've done another season down the line. Also, a lot of the problems were caused by Mori that I think Mori doesn't bring up when the topic comes up. She showed up half-asleep for 2 of those session and then introduced a 2 part filler that was split into 2 parts because of said being half-asleep as the GM because of Squid Game inspiration. Then you've got the derailment into what Mori wants instead of the promised killer DM she said she was going to do and not hold back if they make a dumb mistake but she did hold back. Then you've got Mori pushing the "final" session back for whatever reason but still finding time to do sessions with other people? I know she said some weren't interested in continuing but she should've put her heel down and given an actual conclusion to the session instead of having it linger in limbo for as long as she did. If she wants to do more TRPG stuff, then fix all the problems she had with the original mythbreakers or do one-shots with people interested. This isn't that hard to figure out.

>> No.46464672

>>46463956
Started strong but kinda fizzled out towards the end, the fact it was all 20 minute prerecorded videos after the 1st session also kinda killed interest

Ina isn't an entertainer. Vtubing is a hobby to her and she only does what she wants. Pretty based, desu.

>> No.46465295

>>46464134
probably ina and/or ame, both appeared to be having a good time at first, but after the individual session, they entirely lost interest in participating. Especially Ame in the later sessions, where she basically glued herself to Kiara and just nodded every now and then.

>> No.46465531

That's why forced unity is lame. Better to play with the people who are genuinely interested and have a good time instead of trying to make it a "WOOO BIG GEN-WIDE EVENT!" thing.

Trying to do it as a big multi-episode extravaganza was a mistake; I can't really fault Mori's ambition but treating it more as a series of one-shots with recurring characters (where not everybody has to show up for every session) would have been far more tenable.
You see this pretty commonly on the HoloJP side: Call of Cthulhu and Japanese TRPG culture are already well set-up for this. When Fubuki runs a game it's usually a one-off session of some kind.
