Man gura has probably lost more fans than any of these have gained and shes still had very limited if any noticeable drop yet. 1.5 years chumbud so I didn't experience the earlier ghostings. When she started doing it in 2022, I chose to give her the benefit of the doubt and said that I was going to give her a chance when she supposedly comes back.
And then, membership post dropped and I didn't care. I clicked on it after a day and never watched it even a few days later.
She streamed Minecraft and I just waited for clips.
I realized then that the membership I kept was just for wishful thinking that she'd be as entertaining when I first started watching her.
Thanks to this thread, I was reminded to cancel that membership.

I watched Gura's debut live and was a day one member. 2021 was great, but throughout 2022 she showed an intensifying deterioration in every single area of her activity that I cared about. I didn't see any sign this year that she would turn things around, and I gave up.

I found a new oshi while Gura was hiding in the studio in Japan, and I'm very happy with her. The chumbuds who are still left are especially insane, so unfortunately I don't feel comfortable recommending her because I don't want their hostility directed toward her.

Whenever she encountered a problem with some kind of content, she tended to react by discontinuing it instead of doing anything to fix it. At first, this mostly meant that an especially troublesome game would be dropped instead of spending a couple of hours trying to make it work for a follow-up stream. The one tangible counterexample that comes to mind is her actually doing the second big brain games stream.

Later this tended to encompass entire categories of content. Have a problem with audio in ASMR once? Cancel all ASMR for two years and never talk about it. Have a bad day with unarchived karaoke? Karaoke is an unscheduled, unarchived, fucking-around-practice-session now. What she actually delivered steadily decreased until there was almost nothing left. It even extended to scheduling; rather than have to post an update to cancel a stream, she simply began to completely withhold every scrap of information about when she would or wouldn't stream. Most of Autumn 2022 passed with fans being totally unable to predict whether she might stream tomorrow, or in 14 days. /ggg/ was like a mental ward during that time, with anons trying to decipher messages from her Twitter likes to guess when she might stream again.

In addition to that, while she was in Japan, it became clear to me that what she wanted to focus on the most was prerecorded content, stuff that was scripted and controlled and produced by other people. I never enjoyed her prerecorded content. Gura was an amazing live entertainer, but she just slowly stopped doing that stuff.

Anything takes priority over a live stream. She'll go to some bizarre, irrelevant meeting about being a tourism ambassador without giving a second thought to streaming instead. A live stream is her lowest priority of all, the content of last resort, to be delivered only when she has absolutely no other choice. I don't claim to have a theory for why live streams are so low a priority for her, but they were what I enjoyed most. Now I found someone who loves streaming, who positively radiates an aura of loving it, and tells me exactly when to be there for her stream.

Watched guras recebt streams and I hate to concernfag but... to me she is behaving like someone who's gone through sexual abuse, or even SRA... she's not just "out of it", "jaded", or "just doing it for money". I see signs that no, something is curdling in her stomach, making her feel physically sick. Normally I would be resentful of an entertainer acting the way she has but...
