i can only speak for myself, but getting someone to design a character for you and then getting someone to turn it into a 3d model with rigging is something that usually costs a little more.

You can get good deals because artists sell themselves below value all the time and that's fine. In my case i employed artists that were also people i knew and I didn't mind paying them the price that's appropriate for the time and expertise spent on it. I ended up paying 700€ for the character design because i asked a good artist to help me with the designing phase, someone i could bounce off ideas and had a certain element of professionalism. I could have probably spent less to get something better, but I had a hard time to coming up with a lot of the design elements and I'm glad with what i received.

Set up both of the channels you'll be streaming to (presumably Twitch and YouTube) before you start on restream, then go that and select the info you've just set up for each platform from the "edit settings" tab each channel has. There's also the opposite issue where someone comes into a chat expecting to talk a lot more to the streamer and they only read 20% of the lines written aloud. Some people don't read everything out loud, but they still acknowledge or respond. If the chat is small enough, it's a lot easier to acknowledge them, so the streamer should try to do that.

I kinda dislike reading out the whole message every time somebody writes in chat and similarly dislike streams where that's what the streamer does. The chat is visible to both the chatters and the stream (doubly so if there's a chat-inset on an overlay or something!). Obviously responding to and interacting with chat is good and a lot of the point, but it doesn't need to be the whole content of the stream. That's what free chatting streams are for. Presumably there are people there who aren't there to talk in chat. Going off my metrics that's about 85% of viewers don't say a word. In that case, their focus in on the gameplay not on the extrovert wanting an awkward chat with the streamer about whatever isn't taking place on the stream. If chat is talking about or asking about whatever the streamer is doing or watching then that's cool, but expecting the streamer to put content aside to engage back and forth with you is a little rude.

Most important is to never call out people who you see in the viewer list who haven't chatted at all. It's pretty obvious to anybody with an ounce of self awareness who has streamed as a 1 view for any amount of time, but newbies make this mistake very often and it gives 1 views a bad name because of it.

Less obvious is to not really maintain conversation with somebody who is not actively chatting with you. You have about a minute or two to respond to a chat message and follow up with a return question. If you catch it late it's fine to respond but it puts a burden on the chatter if you add any follow up questions to them and it can add quite a bit of awkwardness to the situation if you add that much expectation to respond from the viewer. What is especially bad that I see sometimes is when people try to get a conversation going with somebody who hasn't said anything in chat for 5 or more minutes.

I think part of it is that sometimes they'll either read every part of a back and forth between two chatters (sometimes in the middle, or backwards) and that gets confusing and makes the flow stumble a bit or somebody will write a longer message and they'll get stuck reading out the whole paragraph. Especially if its an explanation for how to do something the streamer asked about.

On the other hand, without some sort of on-screen chat, merely answering a question without at least paraphrasing or summarizing the question looks and sounds really awkward, like you're only hearing half of a conversation.
