If you're asking about what's most efficient, irrespective of your own circumstances, then you should stream as close as possible to the evening for your target demographic, which is when the most people are awake and free. If you're targeting English speakers, your best bet is EST. Pic very related.

Note that Steamcharts uses a 24 hour clock, so the peak time shown in picrel is 11:00am EST. I assume that this is due to it being Asia's evening. Not recommended, unless you're gunning for the chinabux. In which case, knock yourself out.

Red is when most adults will be working and most minors at school, so not a good time for streaming even if you don't work/study at that time.
Green is the few hours after people get home before they go sleep, a great time for streaming as people will be free and likely bored.
Yellow is when most people sleep, but you can still catch some people staying up late or waking up early

Of course, this is not perfect, not everyone works 9-5, not everyone gets home an hour after they clock off, etc. But it's a good rule of thumb

Do note that while there are fewer viewers at non-ideal times, there are also going to be fewer streamers that you will need to compete with for the viewers attention. It sort of evens out somewhat.

Another thing to note is that it can be nice to stream in the later portion and right after prime time US since a lot of streamers will be looking for people to raid. If you stream in the early portion of prime time the people who are ending their streams around that time will have a huge abundance of people to raid so you will be much less likely to catch any good raids.

So overall I think the ideal time is is late primetime into the yellow where people start going to bed so you can catch raids. Most important thing though is to stream consistently, any time can work since the level of competition with your stream generally follows the number of viewers.

Indeed, also you should keep in mind multiple timezones (This is why the table lists them), starting on the latter half of green PST means a lot of people in the other US timezones will be ending stream so you get a good baseline audience and higher raid chance

that's what I've been doing for the past few months, helped a lot with storytelling, how I pace myself and structure my thoughts, and how to not go into tangents. Especially helpful if you're like me, who is prone to autistic rambling and talk all over the place when I'm excited
