One of the reasons Astel gets along so easily with others is because he's very good at matching the energy of whoever he's with. Depends on what you like about fgs, but I think it's pretty good. It's not perfect and by design it feels limited in some areas, tho they expanded the gameplay with the last few updates for the original game and announced new system mechanics for Rising. Not to mention the game is gorgeous and the RPG mode is pretty fun even if it's a little big grindy (which is also something they're addressing with Rising). And Rising will have both rollback and crossplay from the get-go, so if you like GBF I don't see a reason to not try it out.
