I think the problem is that a big part of the board (including the /wvt/ sphere) is very anti vshojo, so there are many that sperg out about that.
On top of that some dislike that GirlsFC feels like a side thing. Thats actually not that true if you pay attention, but that seems to be the common perception.
There is also occasionally people who call out the perceived grifting (as managment larper I think this is bullshit to complain about).
