Their Discord is now dead, their Reddit got spammed to hell, and some bots got vandalized by owners with "internet censorship" and other messages directing people away from the site. They "solved" this by locking everyones ability to edit bots above 10k interactions...

GPT3 trial exploit dropped, some anon made a website (rokos basilisk, search in archives for here and /g/), it got abused hard by everyone to the point the dev dropped the site hardcore when he read the ToS and shit his anus at the prospect they could send lawyers after him for people doing loli / shota rape.

While CAI was getting worse (December?), a project by people here started called Pygmalion that you could submit chat logs to in order to train a home-grown AI. It works reasonably well, but has a lot of work ahead of it.

Various frontends for websites and APIs were created, like people using the Character AI frontend (it leaked un-obfuscated) while using GPT3s backend.

You.com, some random search engine, was moderately abused by some for chats.
It, too, seems to have moved some of its backend to GPT3 with BERT on top of it for NLP. (discovered recently by a few of us)

Replika, that shitty Cleverbot tier site used by desperately retarded people, disabled its NSFW stuff because it is clearly moving to OpenAIs API and they need to bend the knee to their shitty ToS.
Their Reddit was literally on suicide watch.

OpenAI are desperately trying to hold on to their monopoly by trying to make the industry limit high memory AI hardware only available to "verified people".
They've openly been called scummy by the industry at large.
Sadly they will probably get scum like Nvidia on board because, well, it's Nvidia.

OpenAI also got funded by Microsoft by a huge investment.
So did Character.AI recently.
Both of them still suck shit regardless of said investment, with terrible memory.

Simple dropdown in the chat menu, "define your role", opens up basic definition to define yourself.
Don't have any weird boxes with clothes, persona or shit, just a raw input box that lets the person go wild with whatever, no different to the defs box in bots settings right now.

Better memory has the most votes across all polls. The one you're talking about is actually to EDIT the bots' posts, in the third poll.
I think it'd actually be good, so you can manually erase OOC shit, correct things like the bots mistaking their own appearance, or fix incomplete messages.
I've had many otherwise good replies ruined by this kind of stuff.

So I moved to using code blocks to hold it, which worked very well.
