I got sent here from el basurero to answer your question! I’ve had a lot of success being bilingual on streams, but it can get pretty hard to balance once your audience gets bigger. I tend to lean more towards doing English streams since that’s more comfortable for me, but I like to do streams fully in Spanish sometimes where I let out the beast and have fun with my Spanish crew. As far as money, English speaking fans are way more likely to donate/sub, but Spanish speaking fans show their love through making memes and content for their chuuba. Just jump into it with as little investment as you can, but make sure it looks good. Be prepared for less than 5 viewers for a while until you start networking with people. If you go full spanish your growth will be significantly slower unless you shill yourself to the right groups. Do your English reps. There's a ton of videos on youtube on how to gain an accent other than your native one, I suggest you take those and practice daily, it'll help you more than just with vtubing.

I was in a similar position, it takes some time to adjust to english streams because Japanese is a better language to listen to vtubers, and the streamers in HoloJP are much more experienced entertainers than most of the streamers posted here.
