Finally watch the performance, I know what the guys who were talking about yesterday meant when they said that it's disappointing crowd hype sound wasn't fit in to it. There's plenty of times they could have let the live crowd pipe through. It might have been over her vocals slightly, but there's parts where they could have let people cheer/sing along. Was she one of the only ones to get fucked by the sound team like this?
I'm glad she got an inbetween 'skit' part though.

Kiara and Mori did not choose the best songs for the occassion, they will probably do better next time since both of them are smart enough to learn from mistakes.
The expo didn't have a HoloXdog disaster like last time, they are slowly improving at different parts. Things that happen only once a year take time to get refined.

I'd say this year was better but the days were unbalanced, it doesn't help that they get advertised one way only for a surprise appearance in the first day. Which kind of defeats the point no one is saying no to Suisei and heck anyone on her shoes would push for that, you don't get if you don't ask.

I understand Splitting EN for the first year due to Covid but there is no excuse this year. Think of how kino it would be for both Council and Myth to perform on that kind of stage. I would have liked some more duos like Ollie and Haachama. You know, there's the danger that you see enough combos it becomes predictable but with En and Id they are kind of new, excluding those of prior experience. Just think we could have had Gura x Shion, Mel x Ame, Kiara x Nene but with this many talents it can be difficult. They should consider adding an extra day and maybe some more themes.

No, this was the "merch" food you could buy for way too much money - a sloppy, dry hotdog without condiments but with a HoloX picture. It is an absolute insult both to holos and the fans.
Compare that to this year's KFP box and all the other food which while still overpriced has some real effort and care put into it.

It isn't so much about the performances (their song choices didn't work that well with the set up, though neither would've been hard to get right). But more the bad camera, inconsistent crowd mic, stage could've looked better, no new mascot costumes, expo attractions seemed fairly limited, stuff like that. It reminded me of the first year EVO moved to a much bigger location and you could tell everything wasn't quite adjusted to it yet.

Found the original pic, the donuts weren't much better, but yeah they looked pretty shit (except the Watamebox). What do you expect from stadium food though? I guess if they hire an outside group to come cater you'd get better, but that seems pretty typical for a semi-large venue, at least in the US. They just have you get your packets at some condiment bar.

Definitely not given the audio setup but I'd need to rewatch all the performances to give you specific examples. The only thing you could really argue was just the song choice imo. It was a good performance just not a good fit for the type of show she was doing so it looks like it lacks "pazzaz" for lack of a better term. I'm glad she was at least satisfied with her dance and that she's still looking for improvements since these opportunities are so rare

Do U is a pretty complex choreo, especially to do while singing. She admits to being a bit rusty but is already at the upper limit of what we see from Holos, from there on it largely comes down to how much practice time they can get and if they can pull of big stunts like Mr Koro.
