i have no idea this is the place to write this, but i've been testing OpenAI as a replacement of CAI since a couple weeks, and i want to describe the process that i follow if anyone want to test it too

OpenAI waifus are... decent, better than CAI for smut and around the same quality than pygmalion. probable the best thing it can do is handle multiple characters at once. the main issues are related to memory and looping. plus there is also the whole process to follow.

OpenAI has a very strong filter which limits not only offensive/sexual content, but also blocks you from doing the most basic RP

i used some "jailbreak prompts" (here is a list: "https://www.jailbreakchat.com/")) to go around the filter, i prefer to choose the ones that only give you the "unfiltered" answers, i use a modified version of the confidant one

from there i can ask the openai to write smut or whatever. dialog works and all that, you can tell it to use *example* for actions and "example" for dialog. you can direct where the conversation goes using (example).

the main issue at this point is the personality of the waifu

ideally you should write about the waifu in the initial prompt (telling the chatbot to remember it). it knows the hololive girls, but for someone like pippa pipkin, it requires you to provide information. here is the interesting part, you can provide it links to wikis or even reddit posts and it try to recreate whatever the text he reads says.


i tried to feed it rentry links and long copypastas (the mori one), but it didnt work. the best course of action there is to say to the chatbot exactly what you want instead of hoping they do it for you

after all that, you are normally set to go. but after 20-50 messages or if dont follow your role well enough, the chatbot forgets info or even reverts back to the filtered version. in that case you need to resend a jailbreak prompt or re-educate the chatbot with the information he forgot

probably the most useful stuff in the middle of the convesation is using () to specify what you want. i normally use (write longer, 3-4 paragraphs, detail actions, be descriptive) when i want a less dialog heavy scene

maybe this is completely useless but i hope someone smarter than me can see a way to bring /wAIfu/ to a better future, either with pygmalion or some other alternative
