streaming revenue actually decreased in the last quarter, which makes sense with so many going on break and numbers down for EN overall. The big increase came from merch sales (including voice packs and anything else in the shop)
So no, they don't make more money because they stream more, in fact they streamed less compared to previous quarters. They did however, get better at selling stuff. Still a feat compared to HoloEN which I'm pretty sure has gotten worse at selling stuff, they still haven't fixed the shipping issue.
Anyway streaming more has no correlation to revenue because I'm pretty sure if you look at HoloEN, the biggest earner is Gura who doesn't fucking stream.

I feel like her and some of the other low performers aren't given the same opportunities. I wouldn't go as far as to say they only get scraps but it is painfully obvious that each sponsor/merch set has to have half of 1st Army and then other half is round robin of whoever gets fortunate to be selected. I mean fuck just look at figure merch by companies like GSC where some are already up to half a dozen figures of various types while someone have yet to even have 1 made. Fair, I guess what I would like to see happen eventually is for those who to an extent have fallen behind to be given the HoloX treatment for a period of time. I feel like with everything there is a feedback loop, the more regularly and frequently one of the girls is featured either front and center or prominently in big events the more eyes and second/third chances fans will give them. Birthday/Anniversary Lives help but since they are one-offs the momentum doesn't last long at all.
