Okayu's all recovered from yesterday's scratchy throat. She thinks it was just the result of back-to-back long streams, followed by an utawaku, that did it. She's all better now; if her voice still sounds scratchy, it's because she woke up at 8:30, an hour and a half before the stream started.

Her fans seemed worried when they saw the frame for this stream go up at the usual streaming hours, instead of early so she could catch the latest issue of Golden Kamuy when it came out at midnight. The problem is that she usually ends up feeling tired or off if she streams earlier than usual, so she's doing her usual preferred start time. She thinks that this stream will have a unique flavor to it if she's panicking about the latest chapter being out in her head. Forcing herself to not read it immediately feels good to her to.

Okayu put about 2 and a half hours into grinding money and experience off stream. She has almost 25k gold, thanks to an enemy that drops a lot of gold around Alena's kingdom, and all the party is early to mid 20's thanks to metal slime hunting. Even with this time spent, she's still given some tough challenges in the latter half of the stream.

It was Okayu's grandma's birthday recently, and Okayu asked what she wanted as a present. She told Okayu she didn't need anything as long as Okayu was giving her all these fun streams to watch. Still, Okayu really wanted to give her something, so she sent her a really tasty looking cheesecake. She also asked if she would watch Golden Kamuy if she got it for her, and she said she would, so Okayu sent her the complete Blu-ray of seasons 1-3.

During a part of the game where you need to have a party member locked away in the dungeon until you can clear your name by retrieving a stolen treasure, Okayu realized that each character has unique dialogue while behind bars. Because of this, she ends up cycling through each character to see how they react to it. Thought she originally had Ryan/Ragnar locked up since she didn't think she'd be using him here, she ends up leaving Manya/Maya instead. This is because her usually strong attitude disappears, and she seems far more upset than anybody else in the party, going as far as to say she holds a grudge against Okayu for it. This change in attitude seems to be a real fetish for Okayu, and she thinks it's real cute.

Okayu wants to continue Dragon Quest real soon since she hasn't been back to it in a week. Friday is going to be this month's Kamioka Radio though, and they have a guest this time. Okayu doesn't say who it is, but Shiina's tweet has shown us that it's going to be Fumino Tamaki/Noraneko. Okayu also wants to try and get a public ASMR stream out before the month's end, so probably either Saturday or Sunday for that.

Okayu bought it for herself when she was out doing important work earlier, and has been looking forward to eating it herself: a sweet potato cake! It's really tasty. Okayu remembers making it in elementary school in a cooking lesson, and she's never been able to forget how yummy it is.

Okayu loves story developments like the one with Psaro, but they also really hurt her heart. With anime, manga, and games, she really finds the kind where both the protagonists and antagonists aren't necessarily evil, but instead just have a difference in values or worldview. Psaro may have done terrible things to the humans, but humans aren't innocent either. Okayu hunted and killed metal slimes for experience, and cheered for monster fights in the colosseum so she could make money; that's no different than the people who hurt Rose so she'd cry rubies for them. Ah, it's getting too hard for her to think about. She doesn't normally play the same game twice in a row, but she really wants to see the continuation, so she'll stream it again tomorrow. She's happy that she's streaming this though; normally she wouldn't be strong enough for this kind of emotional pain, and would take about a week's break from it.

Okayu already talked about what really made her cry in 5, but now she wants to talk about her favorite, 6. She warns everybody about spoilers first, then gets deeply into the topic of the game's plot, the two versions of people, the Hero and Tania, and valuing something else over your own existence. She thinks that part of what makes a game in the series resonate with her more is when she played it in her life; 6 is still the one that she remembers most often. She really hopes somebody in hololive starts a playthrough of it; she really wants to see them experience it for the first time. Noel likes 6 too? Okayu wants to shake her hand.

Okayu watched about half of Subaru's stream of it, until she got tired and took a nap. She thought it was really funny, especially screaming at the slime, or getting angry at Trode. She wants to watch more of Subaru's streams of it when she has time. 8 was actually Okayu's first game in the whole series, so she still remembers some of it, but it's also been so long that she's forgotten a lot. She remembers misreading Master Rylus as Master Rice though.

>Accent ASMR
The onigiryaa really like the clip Okayu tweeted of her talking in her region's accent(https://twitter.com/nekomataokayu/status/1398531859135438850).). Okayu thinks that might not be a bad idea for next month's member stream. She needs to test out her new mic anyway, so maybe she'll do an ASMR stream where she uses her normal Tsugaru accent.

Okayu's only ever had her accent exposed to a few people, even in hololive. Subaru and Mio have heard it, but only because Okayu got a call from her grandma while they were hanging out; Okayu tends to revert back to it when she hears somebody else talking with a similar accent. Afterwards, the two gave her a "Eh? So that's how you normally talk, Okayu?". Has Korosan heard it? Korosan has a very different accent then what Okayu has, so she ends up speaking normally with her, so she probably hasn't heard Okayu use it. On that note, Tanigaki from Golden Kamuy speaks with an Akita accent, which is apparently close enough to Okayu's to get her to start "accenting" as well. There was a time with Kayoizuma-chan where she unconsciously slipped back into her accent because of him.

>Honest feelings
Responding to a superchat concerned about their time with Okayu after reading "Oshi Moyu", Okayu understands that it's hard to think about that stuff. She wants to stay with her fans forever, but also understands that she never knows what tomorrow may bring, so she doesn't want to make empty promises. The fact that she's here and enjoying herself with everybody makes her happy though, and she wants to continue having fun streaming. She honestly enjoys it every time, she's bad at acting, after all.

>Rune Factory
Okayu's asked to try and explain/recommend the Rune Factory series because a fan is considering buying 5. Okayu has played 1, 2, and 4 up to now. She wasn't able to get 3 for some reason she doesn't remember, and hasn't touched Frontier or Oceans. She thinks 5 gets easy a bit quicker than 4, with things like quick-warping and crop management. If you've played the Harvest Moon series, then you have a good understanding already, but there's lots of fighting in the RF series too. Okayu really likes this addition; the monsters are really strong, so you need to make weapons and accessories. To make those things you need materials from the wild, and recipe bread to learn how to make them. The game just feels a lot more busy comparatively, and Okayu really likes trying to play as efficiently as she can. She really likes the characters too, though this time she really likes all the bachelorettes. She mentioned in yesterday's ASMR that she really likes Livia and Hina, but was sad that both aren't marriage candidates; she still has Fuka though. Okayu started playing as a female, but there's a chance she might start over as a guy so she can marry one of the girls. But ultimately, yes, she recommends it.

in this translation her accent is likened to more of a Maine accent, which this translator seems pretty confident about being a closer parallel to Okayu's accent than an American southern accent. Jin's translation on twitter is just an American southern accent.

Notes on the accent/dialect: The Tohoku dialect is usually considered a rural accent. Although the go-to localization for any non-standard Japanese dialect is usually the American southern accent, I tried to go with a closer parallel.
With the Tohoku dialect being a northern, rural accent, there's a few analogues in America. I went with a Maine accent, as Maine is similarly rural and chilly. (I know there's other rural, northern accents on the West Coast and in the Midwest, but I'm even less familiar with those, let alone those of other English-speaking countries)
The Maine accent might not have come across in phoneticized text, but it's slightly similar to a Boston accent (or if you're from the UK, think West Country)

As usual, Okayu woke up from a nap recently. She woke up at a regular hour in the morning, but needed rest after watching S2 of Umamusume. She needed a mental reset after having her heart broken by the show, so she made sure to take a nap to reset her brain(and voice). She has a weird love for mind crushing herself.

>June is coming
Is it really? Okayu had to write the date down when she went to the government office recently and had to write the date down. Normally it's not unusual to have check the date at times like that, but she even needed to check the month because she wasn't sure anymore. It feels like May passed way too fast. Does she have a mental image for June? She thinks of rain and the color purple, the color of Ajisai(French Hydrangea). She really loves the color of Ajisai; she knows a place where a lot of them bloom and wants to go to see them soon. It's probably her favorite flower, though she feels she might have said it was Lilies or Roses before.

Okayu didn't know her button was arriving when she suddenly heard her doorbell ringing for its delivery; Mane-chan must have arranged for its delivery. She had the silver button before, but this thing was way bigger than she thought! She thought it might be bigger, like the size of a Gameboy, but it's way bigger than everyone might think; big enough for Temanyan to sit on with plenty of room, while she could just barely manage it with the silver. If the silver is about the size of a Wii U, then the gold is even larger than a PS4. It's amazing how shiny it is.

>Kamioka Radio
Okayu really liked Fumino Tamaki even before she was on the show, even if she never told anybody. She thinks she's really interesting, and she never really yells, so Okayu'd watch her when she felt like she wanted to start winding down. The problem is that she's also so funny that Okayu would usually end up laughing, just like when watching Korosan; so she sticks with things like classical for when it's actually bedtime. She really was way too funny on the show. They talked about Deron/Higuchi Kaede on the show too, and Okayu became curious about Tamaki's relationship with her; now their pairing has become a bit of a boom for Okayu lately. Okayu felt out of place because she was using keigo the whole time? She heard some people saying that. She can use keigo too; she's an adult you know!? The part where Tamaki mentioned "That person" seeming scary really got Okayu going. She likes people who can make jokes that sound really serious like that.

Okayu knows there are plenty of people who still haven't watched season 2 yet, so she won't say any spoilers, but she cried. She wanted to try for the two alt outfit girls in the current gacha, but pulled Teio instead; this is what made her start watching season 2. Tachyon was her oshi before, but season 2 is really making her love all the girls, and changing her impression of some of them too. Okayu had thought Rice Shower was cute before, but now she thinks she's really cool too. Mihono Bourbon is really cute as well. Okayu wants to read game story too but is skipping it for now until she feels like it's a good time to do so. She did read Mcqueen's though, and it really made her cry. All the girls with different goals and dreams, so many setbacks and failures, yet they still have the strength to keep going; it's another series where Okayu suffers because there's nobody she can fully resent or dislike.

>Rengoku
Chat keeps calling Rengoku Okayu's last man, and she's worried that people who are just coming in might get the wrong idea. On the topic of Rengoku, the Rukappu Rengoku and Kanao figures recently arrived at her house. Rengoku is super cute! If she puts him on her table, their eyes meet(Rukappu is literally "Look Up"). It might be arguably the cutest goods she's bought this year, possibly including her Usami acryllic stand. She really underestimated how cute it would be. She always gets strength from looking at her Rengoku collection every day. Try looking up like the figure does? *Okayu looks up at the screen* This is how it would look if she was a Rukappu figure. Okakoro Rukappu figures would be great. Gamers figures are coming out eventually too. She really wants her fans to be able to have the same kind of goods that she loves so much.

It really is, isn't it? Okayu usually uses funny or interesting art for her thumbnails, but she actually really loves cute ones too. She's pretty sure she's talked about this before, but she really loves cute things like pink thing. Having a cute thumbnail makes her a little embarrassed though, because the actual contents of the stream aren't going to be particularly more cute or anything.

Okayu wears skirts fairly often now that she's an adult, but she almost never wore them before that. She was too worried about a stray breeze exposing her in high school, so she wore shorts/short pants under her skirt. It didn't help that she rode her bike to school either. In Winter she'd take the bus, but otherwise she would take about an hour to bike to school each day. She didn't think this was too strange; there were other students that took an hour and a half to get there after all.

She's shedding a ton lately; it's a real hassle! No matter how much she brushes, she keeps shedding. Also, Temari might be good with the vet and shots, but she absolutely hates brushing and nail-clipping. Okayu was cutting her nails in front of the computer while working earlier, and Temari punched her blue-light glasses right off her face. Even Churu doesn't fully calm her; she just ended up hissing while she ate.

Probably slugh. She thinks simpler is cuter, and snails are too complicated inside their shells. Also, what kind of question is this?

>Old Kanatan story
A while back Kanatan suddenly asked Okayu if she still liked Rengoku anymore, saying she'd heard rumors that she no longer liked him. Okayu was surprised, and wonders just who was spreading these rumors, but said she still liked him. Kanatan seemed relieved, and said "I knew it! After all, you still have that Inui mug in your bathroom." She was just trying to defend her senpai in the end. It moved Okayu's heart, but it might have hurt it a bit too.

Okayu usually tries to base her style off of ads she might see on the train. Simpler designs, large fonts, and she also usually goes for a purple or pink color because of her own coloring. DK 64 was a bit different? True. Well, it might change depending on the series. She can spend a lot of time making them, but it never feels like work to her. She likes looking at them all lined up; almost like her goods collection on her bookshelf. Okayu then tries to pronounce bookshelf correctly, since apparently she has an accent when she says it.

>Favorite DQ IV characters? Favorite DQ monster?
Borya, then Alena and Cristo(as one character). Her favorite monster has always been the Night Emperor, but she also likes Hoodlum from DQ VIII. She'll be happy if Subaru recruits the Hoodlum in her playthrough.

Okayu decides to answer the next question, about what she listens/watches when sad, using her accent by request of an onigiryaa. Feeling sad alongside something usually helps her cheer up, so she prefers to do that. She also has come to realize how quickly she talks when using her accent too; she could give Koito a run for his money. Why doesn't she normally have an accent? Probably because she lived in a place near Kanto when she was really little, before moving back to Aomori. She thinks she retained the words from that area first, then picked up the accent in Aomori.

He told her it was probably because she spent too much time just drawing his face during class. Okayu ended up graduating though. It's not like she wasn't taking notes too, she's just terrible with math. She only drew him so much because they actually got along real well. Actually, he probably only said that to bully her, maybe because he was going to feel lonely once she was gone and she ended up taking him seriously. Korosan's physical condition has been really bad lately, so Okayu wants to wait until she's better, even though she personally wants to see her more. She's worried about her. She really hopes everybody else is taking care of themselves too. It's an obvious thing to wish for, but some people might take it for granted. She'd gotten so used to Korosan having fun streams all the time, and the increase in her breaks has really made her aware of how happy she was to have those. Okayu should be careful too? True, she does sit down for long periods of time after all. Don't worry though, Okayu's never afraid to take a day off if she isn't feeling up to it. She says she never worries about it because the onigiryaa are always so understanding. More than herself, she's worried about her fans. Okayu does real long streams sometimes, but only when she feels up to it. Please don't force yourself to watch all of it in one go if it's hard for you.

>Tomorrow break
Okayu's taking tomorrow off. Wednesaday used to be her day of choice so she could read the new chapter of Kamuy, but she discovered that she actually likes streaming on that day better. There's no new chapter this week? What?! How come everybody but her knows this? The mangaka needs to rest? Well she hopes he takes care of himself. Mangaka really are incredible. Okayu always feels that people around her who can do things she can't are incredible. She's incredible too? Thanks, but she feels she's pretty normal. Then again, last time she said something like that, Subaru told her that not a single part of Okayu was normal. Subaru knows her better than she knows herself? Uh-oh, that can't be good.

The other day though, she was explaining this to a friend, and they told her that they personally prefer an expensive one because they feel it would make them more conscious of it; Okayu was flabbergasted. She tried this recently with an umbrella that had a really cute pattern, and actually managed to not lose it.
