if you think that january was the first time there have been problems, youre wrong. delta's been a mess since september, but there was something that changed majorly between 2020 and 2021: delta's dependency

anyone who saw these boards back in 2020 should remember who dfs was often the center of conversation. this is because delta was letting them take care of her.

shed given up living because nothing around her had any hope for her except for the fans who went as far to follow the doxxing to find her and support her

what changed over time was her relationship with her mother. when her mother jacked her money, it was an intensely shocking moment because wed thought the mother was fine despite being a burden. delta was completely caught off guard.

however, she came back, they made up, and their relationship has since improved even more. now that kusodad is out of the picture, they have actually been able to be a real mother and daughter for once.

what happened is that delta shifted her core dependence on fans to her mother. what we saw multiple times in 2021 was her getting pissed at fans, purging harassers, and ghosting the community when she has been stressed.

its no different that 2020 except that now we dont hear about her deep issues. that means shes growing as a person. however, her mother has a terminal illness. and, based on this past weekend, she doesnt have much longer if id have to guess

shes a 20 year old girl without proper education whos going to possibly have to run her life and her career on her own soon. shes been relying heavily on her mother recently, whether it be for feedback on goods, help with taxes, etc. she even mentioned planning to get her mother to help her get her superchat money, as she doesnt know how.

aoi has issues that make her unreliable, and ruki cant be deltas mother, nor is she willing to push herself into deltas life that far.

delta has shown incredible stubbornness about being open with people. being in hololive wouldnt have helped. just like she isnt getting rukis support right now, she wouldnt have gotten support from 5th gen.

shes only ever shown openness to the fans who literally saved her from killing herself and her mother.

The game has changed for a few reasons. Dyalisis for someone with kidney failure caused by lupus is temporary. In fact the amount of people who die from it is extremely low and is usually within the first few months we are in the 3rd month so DeluMama has most likely gotten through the worst. She is also on the younger side.

The main issue is DeluMama's mental state. Delta's issues are just stress and she has recognized the stressor and is acting proactively.

youtube-dl can archive password protected twitcast livestreams in progress, provided you've got the right params. You can't record any segments before you started recording and you might get the occasional missing segment due to twitcast not being great, but it can save and assemble the streams no problem.

Downloading an archived stream is a pain. Something about how twitcast encodes its fmp4s confuses ffmpeg. You can extract the audio from the resulting mess, but the video is mangled. Best solution I've found is just to save the fragments.

If the twitcast streamer doesn't enable the archive for the video, you can forget about downloading it.

Your diet goes under watch tho. Everything needs to be rinsed or boiled multiple times. Limited dairy or protein to not overload the kidneys. Avoid salt, prepackaged, etc.
