I haven't arranged anything yet or added in all the small details, but here's a very very rough mix. Vocaroo converts the wav I uploaded to mp3, and I forgot to dither the master, so the high end on the vocaroo might not be exactly what I'm hearing. I have to separate each verse and chorus and level them separately to make it really sound good, and also arrange everything so it doesn't sound like a crowd singing the whole song and more like a 4chan sings project. I'll need some references, so link some good ones if you know any.
>pic
Yellow and dark blue are the very best submissions (good mic/timing, very little editing required)
Blue/Green have decent mics/timing, aren't clipping that much
Orange/Red have a lot of reverb or clipping.
I turned the orange/red ones down more to stop the clipping from masking everyone else too much. The yellow ones are slightly louder than the rest. I think that helps glue everything together.
If you hear anything messed up in the mix so far, or something I can do better, please let me know. This is really only my second time doing any actual vocal production, the first being the previous /vt/ sings.

Even if you say that it's only a very very rough mix, I think it sounds really good already and the only thing it lacks is the bantering.

I'm musically illiterate so I can't comment on how to improve it more. Good job and thank you for your hard work, anon.

And either I'm deaf or I don't know how I sound because I can't hear my voice, again.

I have to add in the banter separately from the main vocals so you can hear them all clearly over the song. It can be a little tricky sometimes.
>can't hear my voice
Yeah, this is my big issue right now. I want most of the submissions to be heard equally. In the pic you can see that all the submissions are playing at the same time. When I say arrange, I mean that I'll chop them up and basically choose who's singing when so that as many people as possible get to hear their voices. That's the idea anyway, it's a bit harder to actually do, especially with a 3 minute song and 45 vocal tracks. There are 7 sections in the song that aren't choruses or prechorus 2, so it could work if I group people up and have different groups sing different sections. Might not sound good, but that's probably the first thing I'll try.

Amazing job, prodanon! It sounds really nice already, can't wait to hear the arranged version.
May I ask how many femanons had submissions? I thought there was only one except me but now I think I hear at least one more. Maybe this information will help me to hear myself better, kek (I already do in some parts though, thanks for your hard work!)

Believe it or not there are a shitton of femanons on this board by virtue of being faster than /pol/, so sheer numbers, and having threads like /asp/ and /aud/ act like beacons for 'em.

>> No.4496742

>>4495885
I think there were 5 or 6 but I'll have to double check. I had to drop one submission that had too much background noise. All of the femanons are marked in yellow or dark blue because their submissions were very good. And to be clear, the color coding is about mic quality and timing, to help with leveling everything. I didn't specifically mark out femanons. That would be weird. It just kinda happened that way, so good job.

I think this is a good one. Although I'm musically retarded so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I'm still working it out. The headphones I ordered came in today and they need some more time to break in and for me to get used to them. I had to cut one of the baritone anons out because there was too much noise, sorry to that anon.
