i came pretty late but i hold similar sentiments. ever since all of the homo dramas in hololive and the lack of streams i started checking out nijien. i did reps to fit in, picked some livers to follow (enna, nina, kyo, scarle, luca, vox and selen were the ones i followed most although i watched clips from anyone if i saw them in my feed) and filtered the tribalfaggotry of /here/. they just seemed a bit too "woke" for my taste but no deal breaker. there were a lot of streams i really enjoyed, a lot of laugh out loud moments. i fucking loved the enna luca switch sports collab, the nijicancelled shit and nina's ck3 streams.
but as i watched more and more, and did more reps, i got more doubtful. enna continuously stressing "platonic" instead of "parasocial" as if it changed anything, some stuff listed in the bitch catalog, shit that absolutely shattered the "family" image for me like nina being excluded from the ethyria gc, finana's "parasocial fucks" thing, vox going on menhera tangents every stream of his i watched (god those bloodborne streams were insufferable) and too much blue comedy all around. but after this incident i have completely dropped everyone in nijien. i'm so glad i'm a thirld worlder poorfag sometimes, thankfully i didn't give them a single cent.
i watched them mainly for unity, something i felt was weak in hololive and because their fans didn't shit their pants every time a male was mentioned. but i now realize their fans are far, far worse than the schizo unicorns of hololive.
an unfinished rape joke was what it took for them to harass and dox a talent for a full month, and niji management practically supported that harassment campaign. twitter freaks are what they are, and management clearly chooses to pander to them.

For obvious reasons this won't fly in the current political climate.
AnyColor very likely received several warnings from groups like the ADL or other Jewish companies.
I'm not implying this is a "DAH JEWS RULE EVERYTHING!!!" situation, I'm just saying, AnyColor realized their mistake in naming her character Zaion.
But instead of simply announcing a new name and explaining why, they threw her under the bus, likely because:
