I think there's probably some issue with niji software that's happening at the moment that's causing it to consume excess resources.

On the recommended requirements of destiny 2, it says it can run on an i5-2400. Which is an old cpu. It may be settings, drivers or cooling issues. But, it's hard to imagine a Ryzen 7 5800x not being able to run this game + her other stuff when it runs relatively recent games like fallen order (recommended i7 6700k), jurassic World Evolution 2 (recommended I7 5775c) and vermintide 2 (recommended i7 3770) along with that same additional software.
