HoloEN has to be restarted at an organisational level, which I suppose the LA concert (?) thing could be indicative of, but EN3 is part of that package and a necessary component without which the momentum will end up being wasted. It's only been like 8 months, but everyone seems to forget what everything was like before Tempus. There was so much less fighting and the worst that ever happened was the stupid shit that Mori would do, but at least all the fans supported them together. Tempus resulted in a giant schism in the fanbase that alienated most of the older fans that liked Hololive because it was all girls.

I think what happened was that EN management was way too overconfident in Myth's, and to a lesser extent, Council's success. They had to have known that introducing Tempus the way they did would make a bunch of fans leave, but I don't think they realized just how fragile HoloEN's success was. They really thought that most fans didn't care or that they even wanted males in their all-girl's club. It's like they saw NijiEN's success with their male EN talents and thought they could reproduce that despite their already existing main audience being those who wanted parasocial relationships with female idols.

No it is not. Right now, there are 2.6k online users on r/hololive. That is literally a tenth of what it used to be only a few months ago. The reason the subreddit has been abandoned is because of EN management's constant push for Holostars EN. Even the normalfags are sick of seeing them shipped with their oshis. Even they are sick of the homobeggars that ruined the atmosphere and camaraderie there. After Holostars EN was introduced, Management changed the title of r/hololive into Hololive Productions, even though the subreddit was never about male talent. In direct response, activity there has dropped by 90% over the past 8 months.

Overall, the introduction of Holostars EN was way too early. They should have secured at least two more generations of female talent before they even thought about introducing them.
It was a conceited and shortsighted decision, the ramifications of which were exacerbated by the EN girls all reducing the time they spent with their fans over the entirety of last year. EN management were literally handed the most successful vtuber branch in the West and it seems like they did everything they possibly could to fail on purpose.
