This isn't the first or last time so I don't want to pretend I'm talking about any one person. It's usually just the community changing for the worst (or showing their true colors) when these things happen but sometimes there's also a case of the chuuba changing in one way or another for content. I can tell the person behind the model is still the one I liked enough at the start but when that doesn't come through on stream I drift away.
I don't think I have it in me to tell a chuuba "I don't like X, Y and Z about your community and I don't like A, B and C about what you're doing on stream" but my whole catch-22 is that I can't tell if they like the direction things have gone either.

at the end of the day the on-stream content is that, content, and just because you like the person doesn't mean you should sit through content you don't like. it's just the nature of content creation that you need to adapt over time, it's just unfortunate that you're the one losing out there.
in terms of communities, any where you or someone very similar to you doesn't have tight reins on it and actively try to shape it, is likely to go to shit. finding a good one is hard, my advice is to give up on finding one and if you do happen upon one consider yourself lucky. dm the people you get along with and focus on friendships with people you know you have that common ground with.

Yes and no. Just being part of a Twitch team doesn't really do much, especially if it's one of those big semi-public ones where it's mostly a glorified directory list. However, chuubas that have good chemistry and similarish audiences that join together as a team seem to succeed (Pop'n Start, South Side, Aussies, etc). Despite how some people here will rag on about circlejerks, people really do like a chuuba ecosystem with its own vibe and culture to it, which is likely why even Holo and Niji tend to deploy new chuubas in pre-assembled groups. Plus considering how skittish many chuubas tend to be, I could see having a more formal support network also cuts down on the menhera a bit.

I multi-streamed for around a year, but didn't see much growth this way. I've grown way more after switching to just Twitch.

The chat experience is very weird when you're on two platforms at once. A bot relays the messages, but it looks strange. You can get used to it, but what's the point when you can go to someone else's channel that doesn't have a weird bot spamming the chat? I really don't recommend multi-streaming, and I regret doing it for so long.
