I'm looking to try Niji EN guys. Recently I did a tour of the EN woms and only Selen came out alive.
Let's pretend I don't have any insight into any of the EN males (in truth I do only have very little) and I'm looking to try them out. You know only that Selen is the only Niji EN female I've liked, I don't want to be lectured (like Ethyria has become known for) and I don't mind if they collab with women/other corpos. Disregarding any drama, rrats, and/or schizos you've seen involving him, I think Luca would be good to give a chance, if you like Selen. I'm genuinely not saying this to start anything, I just think they're similar enough for me to recommend him. He's a prankster, likes riling people up but also does his best to liven up atmosphere and make people laugh. He pays a lot of attention to his fans, does a lot of creative streams, and does a lot of zatsus. I don't think he plays much FPS games, either, it's mostly story-driven games or single-players.

Luca once messed up the EN Minecraft server by accident. That's a pretty big one anons still get pissed about. Around the middle half of last year, he accidentally reverted the EN server's version to 1.7 while trying to get a horror map mod to work, and that essentially nuked half the map. He felt extremely guilty about it, tried to fix it, and apologized to the members who worked on the server frequently, but it was still a sad moment, and created grudges against him for it. Other than that, anons' main problem with him is that he interacts with some EN girls. He likes to hop into open VCs a lot and collabs often, and anons hate him because they always think he's flirting with them. That's all the drama I can really think of surrounding him.

Though, I will say, he does do some BFE. He can be very flirty and does ASMRs once in a blue moon. Nothing too sexual with either, but something to note if you're not into that.

Agreeing with another anon, I think Luca would be your best bet. Asides from that, Ren's music streams, Shu if he streams, Collab Doppio, and despite how much main hates him, maybe Kyo? He leverages being angry too much for my personal tastes but in the occasional stream where the atmosphere of "oh he's joking" is stronger he feels more manic than angsty.

Uki is lower energy than Shinri, with a softer/smoother voice than Altare. He's extremely gay. I can't even call it fujobaiting because he's not baiting shit, it's just how he is. His streams put a lot of people to sleep, and I'm not talking boring, it's just the combination of his voice and quietness. Shu - tardwrangles well, good at the games he likes, but people can find him bland. His jp skills are a plus or minus depending on how much you're interested in the jp senpais similar to his penguin sibling Petra
Doppio - absolutely dedicated to the Kayfabe, schizo beyond belief, tends to also be at least decent at the games he likes and also plays different games and not the ones every single corpo spams. The reason Uki wasn't recommended is that he is gay as fuck so that filters a lot of people and anons are assuming you wouldn't be into that. He's also very low energy. I enjoy him for comfy background noise but his solo stuff would probably put you to sleep. Most of Ren's archived music content is him playing around with an instrument. I don't think Shu has ever been perplexingly bad at any game, he hates backseating but he does take hints and will ask if needed (his only few prominent anti-backseating moves were in games like minecraft). Honestly the biggest reason why I love his gaming streams is is how fast his gamer senses kick in and how he starts learning the mechanics pretty fast. re: fulgur i tend to do well with older streamers (i'm mid thirties i guess it lines up, hag love) but "strict with his chat" would need more context to be considered a pro, as generally speaking the only interpretations i can think of for that are only cons. as mentioned before, i really don't like when streamers stop the stream to tell their chat how to behave. it's my L, i'm def overly sensitive to this. on the other side of that coin, a dark sense of humor can be a big pro for me. VN streaming can work for me as long as they aren't tryhard about the voice acting. that new holo dude flayon made me physically hurt from how tryhard he was, it was genuinely heavy cringe for me. sorry for anyone into him, i don't mean to dookie on your boy, it's just really not for me. jerma has streamed lots of games i wouldn't watch other people play and definitely would never touch myself because he would do goofy voices that i become strangely emotionally invested in, like say Frog Detective. i guess i would say "not taking it too seriously" would be a prerequisite

Sonny does not whine at his chat, if anything chat encourages his bullshit. I can't recall the last time he had to remind chat about backseating actually; I suspect it would be a pretty mild reminder. He's put a lot of effort into cultivating a chat environment that he's happy with and his mods do a good job.
Fulgur has had a couple rough streams in the last few months where he's had to stop to ask chat to stop backseating/spoiling but those were pretty egregious examples with certain VN streams. Outside of that, strict means that he enforces his rules, though not usually in a tense manner. So for example, he doesn't take superchat requests and doesn't allow numberfagging in chat, but he'll just sigh and bonk or laugh as he mutes someone, and this is usually in the zatsu portion. He's good about keeping the flow going. Fulgur does voices but not really in a tryhard way - more taking the piss out of himself. Definitely does not take himself remotely seriously with it.

If you want a list of Mysta’s yabs, I’m the past he’s been accused of over sharing and venting too much about his irl problems, but he’s gone so far in the other direction bc of the backlash he received for this last year that now he’s very closed off to his audience about anything that’s going on irl so he just disappears sometimes for a few days and doesn’t tell people the context until like a month later. That was my problem with it too, yeah. They asked each other what was essentially the same question multiple times.
